Me!!! I started taking an afhd medicine and now it has been a miracle for me. I did a non-controlled substance so it is mild. It just allows me to relax and calm the constant noise. Can I ask what you are taking? The more I learn about ADHD the more I am convinced that I suffer with this affliction as well.

Not just sleep, but every waking moment. I’ve thought about asking my doctor at my next medical appointment about some kind of anxiety medicine. But after what I read what RFK, Jr wants to do - put people in camps, I can’t risk it. There is a history of mental health issues in my family. I fear that if I was ever forcefully separated from my dogs, I might have a psychotic break. I’ve discussed it with my sister. We are concerned. She’s on a couple of different kinds of anti-depressants. The only thing that has helped me sleep is listening to YouTube night jazz music and train sounds. Sometimes I listen to paper crafting content creators. It seems to help. Merge would you mind sharing what model of Soundcore earbuds you purchased. What I have tried: - Apple AirPod Pros - ouch. Love my AirPods, but for trying to fall asleep, they just don’t work. They hurt! - Side sleeper headband headphones. While they are quite comfortable, I have found they’re very damaging to my fine thin hair. - 2 different wired earphones (I use an old iPod) a pair of Betron and a pair of JBL. While the sound has been decent, they are just too painful. The most comfortable pair of earbuds I own are an old pair of Bose but one of them has a broken wire. I also have found that the Bose are now pretty expensive.

They are great. I use my airpods pro during the day - tbh, I have an audiobook going almost any time I'm not actively talking to someone.
I rely on anxiety meds and credit them with saving both my marriage and my career. I'm very worried about the possibility of them being outlawed or severely restricted. My oldest daughter also relies on meds - both SSRI and an anti-psychotic - and would not be able to live her current, self-sufficient life without them. She attempted suicide two years ago during an unmedicated/undermedicated period, and if she didn't have access to those meds, there's a very real chance she'd do it again.

I am telling the truth and know how your daughter feels. I have been under medicated, too and yeah your brain goes totally haywire. I am going to hope and pray for the very best for all of you. These are scary times.❤️

Me.
I found if I read mindless romance fluff, before bed...it helps me get to sleep easier.
Reading self-help type books before bed, is a definite no for me. Books like that make my "over thinking" go into full blast overdrive.

My husband joked that he wished he could give me his brain for a day or two so I could just "shut everything off" and rest. I told him he'd go insane.
Last night was bad.. I'll be dead asleep (or so I think) and then just wake up with a dreadful feeling or random thought or picture in my head that spirals.
I would also like a cat whisperer, but that's a different topic. :X

I take 4 different meds to control depression and anxiety and they work well for me but I wouldn't be alive without them.
