I won’t fly coach any more. If it’s not that much more, I opt for first class.

I can't think of anything I am a bonafide snob about, but I do like a 2-ply toilet paper and I much prefer a mirrorless camera to a dslr with a nice lens.
Maybe having cruised with a bit nicer ship, that Carnival cruise wasn't that great.

I won’t fly coach any more. Oh, I would LOVE to be your kind of snobby!! Unfortunately my budget does not allow it. My last OS flight to Thailand would have been 4-5 times the price. Looking at the cost today, the flights are $564 return economy compared to $2553 return business class. 😫 And that's on one of the cheaper airlines. I'm not game to check Qantas or Singapore or Emirates etc. I did say to DSO (who struggles on long flights) that one day we will save up and treat ourselves to a business class flight home. But to be honest, I'd prefer to take four overseas trips in economy than one trip in business class. Now, if I win Powerball one day, I'm shouting all the Peas business/first class trips to come and stay in my beachside mansion!

Books
Butter. I am all about the Kerrygold and the Costco grassfed butter.
Shoes. I have plantar fasciitis so I pretty much stick to Birks.
Ketchup: Heinz

What's something you won't skimp on? ETA: this thread really wasn't about luxury items or money, it was about value. Something that is so valuable to you that it's worth being discriminating about. I'm not snobby about much, that I can think of... I might come up with some as I read the thread, lol. The only thing I would say I think is worth paying $$ for now is GOOD SHOES. I wear Dr. Martens, which aren't everyone's cup of tea style-wise, but I like the style, and IMO, they are COMFORTABLE. I know there are knock-offs available that *look* like Docs, but the real thing is definitely worth the money. Also my tennis shoes- I used to buy any kind of cheap tennis shoes from Walmart or wherever- the ones that look like Keds - but I finally got my feet evaluated at a good shoe store and now I only wear Hokas, since they are the brand that 'works' with the issues my feet have. (oh, and good cross-stitching supplies, lol. I only buy DMC floss, none of the cheap Chinese knock-off brands. And for some designs, if it's something I'm going to spend hundreds of hours stitching and will want to frame / display, I will spend the $$ on silk floss-- it has a different / more luxurious feel and sheen to it, the stitches just 'look' nicer, and I think the finished design will be worth the extra expense.) eta: sheets, definitely sheets! higher thread count = less scratchy, more comfortable sleeping.
