I only have a few 12x12 albums, but they, along with my printed photobooks, are in the built-in bookcases in the living room. Some of my photobooks started out as paper albums.
The only scrapbooks I have stored in an memory bin in the basement are the Hobonichi planners that I used as photo + memory journals for a couple of years, and my two pandemic journals.

I have a few in my living room. The rest are in my craft room. I only have a few. The December Daily albums are getting to be too much for me, though as I've been doing it for so long.
I think Ali said that she has 20 albums just for Simon. I can see why she'd need to move some to storage.

I bought a 5 x 5 Kallax when I redid my living room. My albums are kept there. I like having them accessible.

Mine are in the basement in tubs. No one ever looks at them. Occasionally Dh will comment why don’t you get rid of those? teddyw I’m sorry to hear that. I hope it brings you joy and you can ignore his insensitivity.

My attic. I’m not sure what to do with them long term. I told my family they can throw them away eventually. I really feel like scanning them might be the solution but until I need room or downsize they will sit in the attic probably being destroyed by the elements.
I don’t scrapbook for the archivalness. For me it stress release and a way to express my creativity. So in the end I don’t care what happens.

I received my boxes from IKEA. I was able to fit 6 years (1 album each) into each box with room to spare, so searching through layouts is possible without removing from the box. However, now I need to put the smaller items that were not in PP into a 12x12 PP so they don't get lost at the bottom. I also need to make dividers for the years.

I have 3 shelves in my bedroom, floor to ceiling. I have a shelf in my guest room and two in my living room. Misc albums are scattered looking for a home. A few were given to other people.
