I've never been to the US, so for me, American food is only what I've read about in books so I could be wildly off. These are things I've never had before: biscuits and gravy pumpkin pie corn dogs corn hash cornbread sweet potatoes/pumpkin in sweet dishes Miracle Whip sweet salad containing jelly I'm not sure what corn hash is?? Or sweet salad containing jelly? Miracle Whip is gross in my opinion. And American Biscuits and gravy is YUMMMMY.. lol Maybe I got it wrong then, but I thought people made jellies in moulds with all kinds of random stuff in, like mayonnaise and lettuce and tinned fruit? I have no idea what corn hash is either, but I read it in something. I just Googled and it came up with this

And it's not mayonnaise but usually something like cottage cheese, or whipped cream. It can also just be jello and fruits.

And people don't really do that anymore for the most part, that had its heyday in the 50s-70s. I will admit that I like canned pears in green jello at Thanksgiving though! Also have never heard of corn hash.

And tuna, olives, fruits, carrots, fish, shrimp, fruit, marshmallows, you name it... Someone had a disgusting jello recipe for it! 🤣🤣
