There was an old mystery show in the 70's, Ellery Queen, with Jim Hutton and David Wayne. I'd choose that hands down. Though I also love the Columbo/Macmillan and Wife combo too. Murder She Wrote, Mash, and St Elsewhere would be up there too. St Elsewhere has the craziest, cleverest final episode in the history of television. I also like Vera, and was sorry to see it end.

I love reading all the old show names. I think I am a vintage TV show lover at heart. There have been so many through the years that I haven’t thought about in years but just seeing all of the ones listed here bring them back.
Does anyone remember that show Dirty Sally? I think that was the name? 😄
Growing up I loved or remember : Starsky and Hutch, Simon and Simon, Riptide, Scarecrow and Mrs King, Rockford Files, MacGyver, Step by Step, Monk, Murder She Wrote, Eight is Enough, Alice, One Day at a Time.
Dave’s World another huge favorite. I am also a really big Twin Peaks fan.

I really don't know that I could pick just one. I go through phases. But, I have consistently watched and enjoyed Heartland for 15 years so for the sake of this thread I'll choose Heartland. I love the characters and I love that everything always wraps up in a good, happy ending.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I loved the first two seasons of Veronica Mars but not the third or the reboot. Game of Thrones maybe if the last season doesn’t exist. Law and Order classic version also.

A blast from the past - Wings!! (with Tim Daly and Steven Weber) Or West Wing Wings for me too - love those Hackett brothers- and all their quirky friends!

I was a huge Gilmore Girls fan and felt a hole in my Tuesday nights after it ended. Friday Night Lights or ER were also shows that I did not miss when they were airing.

Gilmore Girls is my go-to and I’ve watched it so many times I’ve lost count.
I also watch The West Wing and Numbers when I want to something comforting.

I am not big on rewatching shows unless it’s been a really long time and then I’ll just rewatch just once. Do on the other hand has How I Met Your Mother on repeat. He never tires of that show.

The show I could watch over and over again the easiest would be The Big Bang Theory. However, my all time favorite comedy was Frasier.
My favorite drama was probably Private Practice or Scandal. I'm currently rewatching Scandal.

Homicide, Life on the streets. For comedy it would be Seinfeld.

I can only rewatch comedies. I’d pick Friends for sure. I love rewatching certain seasons.
Next would be Seinfeld or King of Queens.

NYPD Blue and have been watching LA Law. Does any one watch LA Law? When I watch Sex and the City now, Carrie is such a whiner, sometimes that it is unbearable. I think it was better the first time viewing.
Boston Legal is pretty good and some of the court cases are spot on for what is happening now.

I'm also not big on rewatching series, there's only a couple I can think of that I've rewatched and of those I'd choose That 70's Show. For something more current I'd go with Taskmaster.

I can't pick just one show. Also, none of mine are current. I regularly re-watch classic shows like I Love Lucy, The Waltons, Andy Griffith, Rockford Files, Magnum PI... the most current re-watchable shows would be That 70s Show and Big Bang Theory. Oh, and Looney Tunes cartoons. I can *always* re-watch good / classic Looney Tunes. my guilty pleasure / cheesy re-watchable show is Highlander, with Adrian Paul. It's not a very good show, really- it's soooo 80s-90s-- but I do own quite a few seasons of it on DVD.
