I received my PET results and it looks like another biopsy and probably radiation are in my future.  My oncs will be discussing things this afternoon and I see the second one tomorrow so hoping to walk away with the action plan. I'm sorry to hear this and I'm sure it wasn't the news you were hoping for. Hoping you get an action plan to beat this! |

scrapmaven , I forgot one of the funniest parts of reconnecting with my exbf. You know how when you're dating for a while, you *pretend* naming your future kids? We both named our sons the name we had picked out! Hahaha yes!! My boyfriend from ages 16-20yo and I planned what kind of house we were going to have, and kids names. I was really annoyed when he bought a dog, because he used one of the names that we (well, I) had chosen for a girl!  That name was Tahnee. I didn't end up using that name, nor the other name I had picked, which was Kayla. Yes, I was a Days of Our Lives fan.  |

bc2ca: Thinking of you! It was a quiet day around here today since it rained off and on all day. I did the regular cleaning, walked on the treadmill and did some reading. Today was a pretty good day in terms of my anxiety. I’m putting in place some of the techniques from my friend and they seem to be working. I have a dentist appt tomorrow morning and I hate the dentist! It’s just a checkup and cleaning but I still hate going. Supper was chicken quesadilla for me using leftover chicken from last night and grilled sausages with sauerkraut for DH. I feel like we eat different things a lot but we have very different tastes.

bc2ca, I'm so sorry that you got bad news from your scan. You have a tribe who can listen offer comfort and support. Please take good, loving care of yourself and do something really kind for yourself. ((((HUGS)))).

Tamiflu will lessen the severity if you have it. sueg I wandered into an Italian church this morning for ashes but the service had already been going for 30 minutes. austnscrapaddict if these are cardiac events I’d get to a cardiologist and have an annual heart CT. Even if your insurance won’t cover it it’s worth the $125. Maybe you already do that. My sister and I have the same heart defect. Our dad had a heart attack before 60 with bypass. Her family Dr blows it off. She does not see a cardiologist. I have a cardiologist- I get the -CT and stress test & echo We’re on our 3rd delay so I’m not sure if we’ll make it home tonight. Dh was randomly searched at the Italian airport. Then at JFK when you return on a Delta international flight you have to get your luggage and go back through security. I had bought some stuff at the duty free shop. They were in my carryon. Then I had to be searched and my bottles opened. Also another suitcase was cracked. Not the new one I bought for this trip. It wasn’t so old but I’ll have to replace that before I go to my nephew’s in May to help with their nursery & baby shower. Dinner is something in the airport. jeremysgirl maybe your work can let you have a quieter space so you can concentrate.

I wish that I could somehow be teleported home from a trip and not go thru the security & customs lines. This adds on so many hours to your trip when all you want to do is to go home and sleep in your own bed. I'm so sorry that you are enduring this yukky stuff. |

@quiltz I got global entry through my employer about 5 years ago and it really cuts down on customs.
I also have Clear for security.
The holdup is the TSA usually.
I need to look into the mobile passport. I don’t know if that will really do anything. Maybe in other countries.

bc2ca not the results you wanted I’m sure. When my mom was diagnosed with colon cancer over 10 years ago a couple years after she didn’t get a good scan. She had to go back in and have a little bit more of a Major surgery. But she’s been cancer, free, knock on wood since. prayers.
