I’m going to be on the hunt for Cadbury Mini eggs the morning after Easter. That, or I will stock up if Kroger has their usual Easter candy sale a couple of weeks before Easter. Why? Because I need them for cookies! I made malted milk cookies last night for a co-worker’s birthday today, and instead of chocolate chips, I added chopped up mini eggs. OMG I am never making Tollhouse cookies again! These were soooooo good! I don't know how important they are to you, but Costco has the best price on them currently because they have a ginormous bag. I realize it won't beat a 50% markdown after the holiday, but might be worth it to you to get them now. |

I love Cadbury eggs but they've become too expensive so I'll stick with my other favorite, stale and crunchy peeps.

#1 for me is stale peeps. Any flavor any shape. Meeee tooooo, I have to have my PEEPS stale. so when I get them I have to open them and let them hang around in the air til they get nice and stale. thats the only way. |

I am another one that likes Reese's peanut butter eggs. I do like the cups, but the ratios on the eggs is perfection! I have found this year that the heart ones for Valentine's are just as good as the eggs, in my opinion. I agree with this 100%. Also, the Xmas trees are also a good ratio. |

The red bag of their wrapped truffles, attach a pretty bow and always a small welcome gift. Myself, while I used to love them, I may have over indulged during all this gift giving and have had my full of these. For now. |

I was never big on candy so I was a pain in the butt when it came to halloween & easter baskets...LOL My easter basket came with jelly beans, chocolate bunnies and chuckles (those sugar coated jelly candy squares). I didn't eat chocolate and only certain colors of jelly beans and the chuckles. My father got the rest of the jelly beans and my mother got the chocolate bunny. I don't think anyone ate the dyed eggs.

I had a chuckle over this comment about a lot of things becoming too sweet, and you love Cadbury Creme Eggs.... those things are sooooo sweet, my teeth ache just thinking about them!  I know, it's the weirdest thing. Most other candy has become too sweet but my dear Cadbury eggs have held on! I will be sad when they become too sweet, but for now... I was looking for a particular recipe today, and came across this one: 3 Ingredient Cadbury Creme Egg Fudge. It uses the creme eggs, as well as milk chocolate and condensed milk, just in case the creme eggs weren't sweet enough for you on their own!  |

I love the Reese eggs and usually get some each year. About 10 years ago, I bought a bag of jelly beans. They weren't Brachs but I can't remember what kind now. Maybe Starburst since everyone seems to like those. Or maybe they were Sweet Tarts. Anyway, I opened the bag thinking I will only have a few. I ended up eating the entire bag in one sitting! I did not feel good after! Now, I can't stand any kind of jelly beans. Which is a good thing I guess!
The creme eggs I could never eat. Not sure why, maybe the texture?

Our local drug and grocery stores have a ton of them .. they all used to have the vanilla cream early and then sell out but the last couple of years I can’t even find them early.
