I redeemed myself! After a little fuss over using chicken thighs instead of breasts 🙄 he loved it. Chicken with fresh sage over rice and kale..

I made another meal from my meal plan. I had been telling jeremysgirl about it. I am showing great restraint not having another serving. I'm saving it for lunch tomorrow. It's roasted broccoli with roasted za'tar chickpeas on a lemon yogurt sauce. You are instructed to use the toasted bread to scoop it up. I used the bread to get every last bit of that sauce up. So garlicky and so good.

jeremysgirl and anyone else who likes their own zip code in bed, but sleeps w/a partner, may I suggest the most wonderful thing in the universe....The Sleep Number Split Ca. King bed. OMG. It's heaven. I have my own side and I can sprawl, bounce, probably do gymnastics and dh would never know it. I am a sprawler, but luckily I'm short. Though I do talk in my sleep and occasionally have verbal arguments and wake up screaming at someone. Oops. Still, it's a wonderful, beautiful and unfortunately, expensive bed. Tearisci , please let us know how your dad is doing. I feel sad that you and your family have more stuff to worry about. Yummy dinners, jeremysgirl and naby64 .

Well my poor dad has colitis and sepsis and Covid! He hadn’t had any Covid symptoms but his white blood count is elevated. They admitted him to the hospital to get him stabilized.

scrapmaven right now we do have a king and I'm still in his space all the time. But if you really want to see a comedy show, the camper has a camper queen. Which is slightly smaller than a regular queen. And we get awfully cuddly. I swear he doesn't sleep the entire week. Poor guy. naby64 that looks delicious. Just so good.

I thought it would be easily treatable UTI. This is terrible. Just not what any of you needed right now. Your poor dad.

Well that must have been a shocker for your whole family. He’s really sick. I hope he recovers quickly. We have a king bed and both like to roll under the edge of the blanket. So one of us ends up with no covers. I even sewed 2 twin comforters together and it still happens. But only when he’s not gone for work. The studio had a gem sale today. The couple travels all over selling them. I wanted to replace the opal from my grandmother’s ring. He didn’t have anything to fit unfortunately. I gardened a little too because I stopped at my favorite garden store. I planted red onions and chives. christine58 I sometimes read the Airbnb forum on Reddit. People are so shady.

Tearisci, your poor dad. He's likely on the really strong antibiotics and I will think thoughts for a fast and easy recovery. Sepsis can be quite disorienting until the Vanco (strong antibiotic) kicks in. My heart goes out to you and I wish I could give you a huge (((((HUG)))) of encouragement and comfort.

jeremysgirl, YES on the new Tim fabric … I was really tempted by it, too, and I haven’t turned on my sewing machine in over 10 years. Not sure if it even works anymore. And I LOVE Jeremy’s sticker! HA HA HA

Thanks everyone for the good wishes for my dad. He didn't want to go to the ER but I'm glad he did because he's really sick. He's 93 so we get very nervous when he gets sick. Hoping he recovers quickly.
