He's been saying right along that he would find a way to stay in office, so this is not new news. It's just him doubling down on more sh!t he shouldn't be trying to do. And his supporters are all for it, I'm sure.

He can spew all the shit he wants. It won't happen. First there will not be enough votes to repeal the 22nd amendment. Second, he would NEVER run as a VP. He is too much of a narcissist. HE has to be the center of attention and if someone else was the main name on the ticket, he would never be able to deal with that. I am pretty sure he will either be dead or completely incapacitated and wearing a diaper on his head before these 4 years are up.

Not gonna happen. The 12th Amendment to the Constitution states "no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice President of the United States".

Not gonna happen. The 12th Amendment to the Constitution states "no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice President of the United States". they're pretty much ignoring anything they want to already, and haven't been stopped yet... so I don't see that these 'not gonna happen' posts as all that hopeful. |

There is some loophole they are trying to exploit, having to do with him not being elected, but rather line of succession and hey! now Im president again! |

It’s like saying a person born on February 29th isn’t eligible for the presidency because they have only had nine birthdays. Literally no one actually thinks the constitution permits it. You just have people who are going ro throw the argument at the wall and see if they can persuade enough people to pretend it is a legitimate argument. ETA: my husband just texted to say he is doing a TV interview about this, LOL. |
