I went in today and they're surprisingly well stocked still.... but they had like 35 spaces of pink thread. And another huge grouping of purple and Grey... so it was odd, lol

I haven't gone into JoAnn's since the closing was announced. Both stores in our area closed for good today. Only the fixtures were left. So sad. This kind of surprises me because the ads I keep getting say the stores here are still receiving new stock daily as they empty out their warehouses. A employee at the store I was in last week said they won’t close until the end of May and are still receiving hundreds of boxes of stuff a week. I wonder if the leases were up at those stores so they had to close sooner?

I was hoping they would be open for just a big longer.

So I posted earlier that the store I went to (Salina, KS) was just about done (I think their last day was yesterday). There was just a bit of stuff left. I posted what I got there.
Yesterday I went to one close to my home and it was a whole different story. Still had some stuff..lots of fabric, TONS of yarn, those household products, like air fryers, irons, weird things) I guess an iron isn't all out of the question. No scrapbook stuff except some random single sheets of paper from 1998, lol. Two isles of Christmas, Thanksgiving stuff. And just random things. I wasn't impressed. Most everything was still around 40-50% off. Some things were 70% and holiday was 90% off. I wouldn't go back for anything.

I went yesterday in NC. I got some stuff that was 50%. I was tempted to buy a shopping cart for $20, but what would I do with it?!? Too bad they sold out of their baskets right away.
I was hoping to go to the FL stores one more time, but I think they'll all be closed by the end of the month.
The NC store definitely had lots of random stuff in it, and a ton of fabric and yarn. Lots of embroidery floss, but very little thread. I may go back if they are still open when I go back to the area on June 1st, we shall see.

I went about a month ago and almost purchased a storage box that was 20% off of 29.99. Next time I went, the discount was 30%, but they upped the price to $39.99.
