We have a fire extinguisher just outside the door in the garage, and we recently got a couple fire blankets. One is stored hanging on the inside of a kitchen cupboard door, and the other is hanging on the wall in the basement by my husband's workshop. We also recently replaced all 7 of our smoke detectors because they were 20 years old.

In NJ it’s a requirement to have one close to the kitchen. We have one.

We have fire extinguishers on every floor and one in the garage along with fire blankets in the master bedroom, kitchen and laundry room. We live in a three story house.

Yes, this has been yearly for me for almost 30 years! Quick, what's RACE? I have a fire blanket and three extinguishers, one for each floor. The main level one is right off the garage as well so it can do double duty. Hahaha Rescue, activate/Alarm, confine/close, extinguish/evacute. Got that little card too. 😆 And FAST (although I think they added something to that one this year). Yes, we have BEFAST! And about a million other things, including STAR (one of the few I can actually remember what it stands for since it's been around a long time): Stop, Think, Act, Review. I like to pull that one out during safety reviews and Good Catches at huddle. "Utilizing STAR, Nurse Becky did her actual job by noticing her patient was dying and blah blah blah" 🤔🤣

We have 3, one in garage, one in kitchen and one upstairs. We are required to have them as Foster parents. 2 years ago something went wrong with our girl and it completely caught fire, we were able to quickly extinguish it.

We have three fire extinguishers. We just updated our smoke detector system, we put in additional hard-wired smoke/carbon monoxide detectors and a heat detector in the garage to bring it up to 10 (according to code.)

We got fire extinguishers as wedding gifts from the guy who built our house and his wife (a co-worker of mine). Had them on each floor once we moved in, plus the garage.
I did replace them when they expired and have gotten some of the easy can ones since then.
I bought fire blankets and have them in the garage and on every floor. I also gave some to my brother and my sister asked for them for Christmas last year.
I just called the electrician the other day about having all the hard-wired smoke detectors (7) replaced. I have two carbon monoxide detectors also, so I’m sure we will talk about the newest versions of everything.

We have one on each floor of the house and I think two in the (detached) garage/barn. Lots of smoke & CO alarms as well. None in the vehicles so far as I'm aware, as DH (firefighter) has always said if the car catches fire, hold back anyone who tries to put it out before it's absolutely, unquestionably totaled LOL.
