You’re in Nor Cal, right? I love Oroweat rye breads … dill rye, Jewish rye, whatever. Other than that, any of the others mentioned. Sourdough, good quality white bread, multi-grain … I think the main point is quality bread. Not a fan of Dave’s Killer breads. This may not be a popular opinion, but … I think hiring ex-cons is GREAT. I also think naming the brand in honor of murderers and making a joke of it with cartoony logo artwork is … repulsive. How does a man holding a guitar (the logo on my bread bag) make a joke of murdering/murderers? I read the story on the side of the bag as well; no mention of murderers at all. Double entendres? Maybe. Really good bread? Yep! Not interested in arguing the point with you (or anyone, nothing personal). |

I don't think my post was argumentative; I was trying to understand and thought perhaps I was missing a part of the story. Oh well...I guess there's no place for dialogue in today's society anymore. I like Joseph's Lavash bread. It is very thin. Half a sheet is bigger than two slices of standard sandwich bread, it rolls nicely for a wrap style and the carb count is 8 grams for half a sheet which is less carbs than one slice of standard breads.

I love marble rye. But, the only sandwich I really like is a grilled cheese with Havarti, provolone, white American cheese with some sunflower seeds between the cheese. So good!

Doesn't mean Aunt Susan has ever killed anyone... just that she make a cake SO good you think you died and went to heaven when you eat it. Dave' bread is so good it "kills" you with happiness for eating it. |

Doesn't mean Aunt Susan has ever killed anyone... just that she make a cake SO good you think you died and went to heaven when you eat it.
