Probably both. I have to laugh at the fact that he's using how dirty and disgusting DC is as an excuse. He just doesn't want all the protests around. I am sure he imagines. He'll have a more friendly welcome in Alaska

He'll have a more friendly welcome in Alaska Then he should go back to Florida and stay there and never come back to DC, ever. |

If he wasn’t such an utter POS I’d be embarrassed for him. Be embarrassed for us. He’s our face on the world stage. And it’s hard to forget because he never shuts his pie hole. I remember a lot of presidents, but never one who liked to hear himself talk more than he does. And most of what he says is rubbish. He stands in front of a microphone and babbles nonsense. In another family, his kids would be taking away his car keys. But what about Biden, the Trumpers will say? It’s like watching a video of Pavlov’s dog. Biden lost a lot during his term. He made some mistakes, IMO. He also did a lot of good work. I am not going to argue about this again. Trump is the president, he is losing his mind, and he has a dangerous authoritarian streak. And more importantly, he has some seriously incompetent people in his Cabinet. But he is unbelievably lucky. So there’s that. I don’t understand how people listen to him without experiencing anxiety and sometimes depression. But someone said on a podcast yesterday that we are just lucky that he is 79 and not 59, and that is true. So that is my attempt at gratitude for the day. |

I think Stephen Miller is, too - he might actually be younger but evil is like rotting him from the inside or something. We don't get rid of this just by getting rid of Trump. |

Luckily, Vance has De Santis level charisma. He could be the candidate, it’s true. But I suspect that Kemp might run, and he is a successful governor with a lot of experience. Youngkin might too. Either of them would be likely to make life difficult for Vance, especially if our economy worsens. And they are the two best candidates. The others are much worse. Who knows, but I am choosing to be optimistic, if only for a short while. |
