Decorative towels. Actually any towels. The great debates about do you use decorative towels, how dare someone dry their hands on the nice towels, and how often do you wash/change your towels. And how many towels do you use when you shower. And myshelly discussing her shower routine.
Towels are a very loaded subject.
I think sheets caused a similar debate, though.

There's a place I pass every couple of weeks that has a HUGE metal chicken outside. Every time I see a metal chicken in the wild, it gets an audible "knock knock motherfucker" as I walk or drive by.

There's a place I pass every couple of weeks that has a HUGE metal chicken outside I cannot see one of those chickens without thinking “Knock knock mother f’er”. There are two farms close to our cabin with the huge cocks out front. I think I may have said cockadoodle doo mother f'er out loud once. DH gave me the side eye.

A recent mention on social media somewhere of Altoona police. I can't remember where, but I also noticed it on social media. Then recently I ran across a new sewing pattern for a tote bag... The Altoona Tote!

Same here! On my morning walks I pass by a house with a giant red, white and blue metal chicken in the front yard and I greet it each time with, "Knock, knock motherfucker."

Oh and seeing AussieMeg reminded me (I think it was you who started the thread?) do you fold or scrunch your loo roll That *may* have been me. I remember posting here about that when taking care of my mama at end of life. For the last several months I had to help her on and off the toilet. That's when I learned I was a wadder and she was a folder. And not just any folds. Precise. So precise that it took her shaking arthritic hands several attempts and quite a long time to get it just like she wanted it. As she lost her ability to do it, I found myself folding it her way as an act of love. One of the small ways I could show her I loved her. (Thanks for the memory. It makes me smile.)

Will someone post a link to the knock knock MF post? It was before my day here, and I have read the post at one time, but I have forgotten the details.
Thank you in advance.

There's a place I pass every couple of weeks that has a HUGE metal chicken outside. That reminds me more than anything. And uncrustables. A house at top of my street has a huge metal chicken and I think the same thing every time I see it.

Kohl's throw blankets.
I can't get over why peas need so many Kohl's throw blankets even if they are for gifts.

The cancer pea-pod that I was so kindly sent. It lives in my bedside cabinet, and every time I open the top drawer I think of everyone's kindness, smile and send a silent "thank you".
And face flannels, decorative towels, merkins and shopping trolleys.
