Just curious what projects everyone is working on? Love to hear what everyone is working on! And really appreciate this thread.
I recently ordered, and received, photos for April, May, June, & July of this year.
Scrapping-wise, I've been working on 12x12s of day trips to the beach from the past few years. It's far, and expensive, so we only go sometimes once a year, and literally just for a day. But the beach is my very favorite place in the whole wide world, so the trips and the scrapbook layouts are so fun for me.
I would like to catch up on my kids' school albums, but there's been so much stress surrounding school in the past year, that I'm not into it at the moment.

I finished my trip album! Shutterfly had their unlimited pages sale so I had 5 albums (approximately 340 pages altogether) printed (+ a magnet to get me to the $79 threshold for free shipping) for $86. Considering their softcover 8x8 albums are usually $25 for the first 20 pages and $1.89 a page after that, it was a really good deal! My trip album, volumes I and II of 2021, last year's Christmas album, & an album of the scrapbook trips/meet & greets/get-togethers I did in 2005 will get here by late next week, I hope.

I’ve had the same unfinished layout on my desk for over a week. I just haven’t had the energy to finish it. I’m using some pretty PF and have tons of embellishment options but I’m just not feeling it right now. The next step I need to take is to find some alphas for the title. That will make it easier and faster to finish it up rather than cut a title on my silhouette. Maybe tomorrow my mojo will come back.

I got distracted while using up the remains of a Doodlebug kitty collection by some other things I’d set aside to upcycle and make cards from. I worked through some cardboard coasters (8 cards, just need sentiments) and a colorful calendar (52 cards, done!) and just got back to the kitties. I’ve only got small scraps left now, then I’ll try out some new Christmas dies.
I have somehow gotten 30+ weeks into the year without actually starting on my digital scrapping project, a 7x7” yearbook for my family. Life has been life-ing all over the place this year, but now that things are calm I should use this thread as a reminder to get working on it.

I am hoping to work on my 2024 DD Christmas album this weekend. This will be 10x8. I love reading all the different things each of us are working on! I should add I am super behind on my version of PL - actually taking the Storyteller class/sub and set mine up like AE's in a 10x8 album and do love it so much. I also need to keep working on daughter and son-in-law's wedding album - 12x12. I no longer scrapbook 12x12 for many years - but I wanted her album to be 12x12. And, I do a 6x8 album on each of my 6 grandchildren and I am behind. ![]()

Once I found some Thickers I was able to finish up that layout pretty quickly and I’m happy with it. This morning I started and finished another one. If I had more time I’d start another one. My mojo is back!

Just got some new Halloween paper pads from Michaels, so going to get started on Halloween cards for a local nursing care facility. I usually do 80-100 cards for each holiday event, so time to get started on that.
I am almost done with our 2024 trip to Punta Cana, only a couple filler pages to do. But I don't scrap at home, those will get finished at a retreat I will go to in October. Then I will work on a smaller album for our 2024 Myrtle Beach trip. Definitely not as many photos on that trip as Punta Cana had. Then we're taking our next vacation to Myrtle next month. Hoping to get some different pictures from the last few trips since that is one of our favorite vacation spots.
Since we got Riley & Remy (cats) this past year, I have lots of furry cuteness to document. I have done a few of their pages, but haven't made a dent in those photos. I will do some of those at my retreats, which I go to 3 times a year.

I used to be an avid scrapbooker, starting in the late 90s and going strong until we moved in 2019. Took a break for several years and then started working on a 2019 project life style album about our first year exploring our new state. I'm still working on that (almost done). I've been ordering my 85 Free Prints each month for this project that I've been working on for over a year. We moved to Oregon in 2019, and I took so many photos of all the beautiful places we were exploring, that 85 free prints sometimes just covers a few days. It's been a struggle, but it's been fun getting back into scrapbooking again after my break.
I'm probably crazy, but I've just decided to re-do some of my kids albums, and get them out of the original Creative Memories albums and into a cohesive set of albums for each of my 4 kids. I'm not trying to completely re-do them. Still want them to have a similar look and feel from that time period. Just trying to consolidate them and then finish up each kids (now full grown adults) albums through their high school years. I'm up to middle school for most, with some high school layouts for 2 of them I pulled out of my Project Life albums when they got too big, way back in 2015/2016. When I was doing the albums through the years, I used a variety of albums (strap-hinge, post bound, binder) but I just ordered a set of matching albums for each one to hopefully get me through this madness. That was a pretty big investment, so I am committed to seeing this through now.
At the same time, I am organizing my electronic photo storage (I have some in Dropbox, but most in Amazon Photos. Moving all the Dropbox photos over). Yeah...I am crazy. Wish me luck!
If any of you have done any re-doing of albums, I'd love some tips.
