I chose 5 as it looked idyllic for a holiday home and any everyday home would have as much to do with location as actual house.

Number 3 has a cottage look so it is my 2nd choice. Number 4 has a pool and I REALLY NEED A POOL! It is my first choice.
I love all of the houses, except for #9 - no charm and too stark. I'm not an outdoorsy person so the houses by the lake and the one in the snow are places I'd love to visit, I wouldn't want to live there full time.

1 and 10 without any hesitation. Though my ideal house doesn’t have any internal stairs. This is exactly me. I mean, I could get a lift but I'd rather not. ![]() |

1 & 10, but 5 came in a close 2nd to 10. I liked 8 too but the older I get the more I'm about location. 8 looked like it was in a neighborhood. I like some space between my neighbors and I, the more the better.
