We usually buy 11 oz bags of ground coffee from HEB. Almost overnight, the price has jumped about $2, or roughly 25 percent.
(Yes, back in the day these bags were a full pound, and then 12 ounces and now 11.)
Crazy. Check your grocery app and see if you notice a similar jump.

At one store the brand I get (decaf) went up 50 cents, and at another store went up $2.

I noticed that the coffee (12oz) I was buying for 5.99 at Aldi was now nearly 7 in store last weekend and 7.19 online when I checked just now. It might be time for me to switch back to tea with breakfast

All groceries have jumped the past few weeks around here. Coffee is very noticeable, but it is all higher.

I buy SToK coffee, and the one I buy has been discounted at Walmart for the past two weeks. Instead of $5.99, it has been $3.99. I've been stocking up a little at that price.

I can't find my regular beans at Kroger - for at least a few weeks. Clearly there are some supply issues going on.

Maxwell House at Sams, 43 ounce, has gone up $5. It went up $7 at Walmart. Luckily, I stocked up a few months ago when Sams had it on sale for around $10.

The price of coffee is nauseating. Over the past two years the price has close to doubled — the 875g can I buy used to be $19, now it is $30.

I don't drink a drop of coffee, but if tea prices go up we'd probably take out a mortgage before we'd stop buying it, so I guess they've got us held captive on that one.

Coffee pods are 35% higher today than when we ordered them in January. Surprisingly, they were higher last summer than in January but not as high as they are now. DH drinks coffee.
The big jump for me is chocolate.

I buy Caribou Daybreak K cups. They are actually a little cheaper this morning, so I ordered another package.

Yes definitely. A few weeks ago I bought five cans of the Kirkland (Costco) dark roast coffee that my dh drinks. I remember back in the days of Price Club it was $7.00 per can. lol. When I bought these five cans, in anticipation of price increases, it was $16.something per can. Last week it was $20. And two days ago there was no price tag up on the shelf. Either it fell off or they were getting ready to increase the cost again. ![]()

I buy coffee at my huge indoor farmer's market. They are locally roasted. 12 oz bags went from $12.50 to $15.80.
ETA: I drink about 48 oz of coffee a day.

Somewhere the beginning of the year, my husband said coffee was about to get a lot more expensive, but he didn't remember where he heard it. I don't usually listen to things like that from him. This time I did. and I bought quite a lot of ground and bean coffee. By my calculations, we have enough until Feb/March of next year. And I know its going to hurt the account to have to purchase again. I am going to see if I can get a bulk order again and maybe save a little bit. Or start roasting my own if my friend will give up her source

I posted on the tariff thread, my coffee that has been $7 a bag, jumped to $9 a bag overnight, it's Colombian coffee not from Brazil (higher tariffs.) I shop at Winco.

Oh, it’s up all right. I am waiting for a chorus of MAGA cries about it. Or do they only cry over eggs? I ordered 6 bags of coffee several weeks ago, and am kicking myself for not ordering more.

I buy Community Coffee at HEB and notice a HUGE jump about 3 months ago. It had been $7.15 and then jumped to $8.62! I guess I should be happy it's still 12 ounces/bag? But if you have just noticed a price jump, that worries me that there is another one coming on my brand.

Yeah, I bought an extra bag or two from Costco a couple months back. A little birdie told me I should. Because we can't grow our own coffee here. I prefer Community but did buy a different one last purchase. At the office, I use ground Folgers in the pot and the pastor drinks k cups. I guess I need to look at that supply and start searching for the best price. I buy whole beans and grind it myself for my espresso machine. I can't remember what I paid. It was Ruta Maya beans and I think that honking bag was $15.79. Hard for me to check on the increase as Costco always has inflated online costs. I'll look this weekend if I go in. I've been buying big bags of organic white sugar and brown sugar since the first of the year also. ![]()

I don't drink coffee but bought deodorant and pantiliners and they were both up about $1, which is about 20% increase.

I just checked to see what my coffee currently is on Amazon and it's back down to $37 instead of the $46 I paid last week. Guess I should watch this and order when it's less expensive rather than when I'm almost out.

We buy the Ruta Maya beans too. Back at the beginning of the year when there was talk of coffee prices going up, I got two big 5lb bags shipped from Costco. I just looked it up and it seems to be the same price right now.

I don't drink coffee, so I just asked dh if he has seen a sizeable increase in the cost of his green coffee beans, as he roasts his own. He said some types went up a bit, but that he hasn't noticed anything big. bratkar, I can give you the info on the roaster dh uses. It's really not that big and the garage smells amazing when he roasts.

The little Kona farms in Hawaii won’t cut it. 😂 they can put the coffee plantation right next to the banana fields... I'm sure some smart Republican MUST BE thinking about it, because, after all, they're the ones implementing these good-for-the-US economy tariffs. Hey, maybe climate change and global warming is good for something after all, right?
