Based on your inventory, what do you need to do?
What's in your scrapbook product inventory, that sits there not being used.....you bought it "just in case"?
If it's cute and I love it, I buy it.....even if I don't have a "need" for it.
According to my inventory, I need to:
Go mini golfing.
Go to the ocean, beach, seaside....a lot.
Go on road trips.....a lot.
Go to the mountains.
Go hiking.
Zipline.
Make cookies.
Go to more concerts.

I need to do something involving dinosaurs (I think I bought that collection for the b-sides), a whole lot of trips to the beach, sailing (I don't sail), and lighthouse visits, retro 80s arcades, and I need to eat a lot of fruit...

I need to go back to Ireland. Definitely need to go back to Ireland. Also, need to go to Paris- that collection has grown out of control!
I also have Little Yellow Bicycle and October Afternoon little kids collections from the early 00’s. My daughter just had her first child, my first grandchild! I can’t wait to break back into it!
Problem is that my kids’ childhood was bright sunny Caribbean islands and Carolina and Florida beaches and Appalachian mountain woods. My granddaughter will be raised in Northern California… kinda different… my style is likely so different too! Hahaha maybe this will be my “permission” to part with it!

Celebrate Christmas and attend winter activities.
Enjoy summer at the beach and aquariums.
Go play arcade games, mini golf, and ride carnival rides.
Go to school.
Go to a pumpkin patch, carve a pumpkin, go trick or treat, drink witches brew, eat candy, and decorate in a spooky manner.
Jump into a pile of leaves, minus a sucker lol. Get cozy on the couch with a book. Wear a knit sweater. Have on fuzzy socks.
Go skateboard. Eat fries with the guys.

What line is this? I need this in my collection! It's called Level Up by Funky Fossil. I'd post a link but I can't find a single image of it online... it's a 6 by 6 pad with Space Invaders, Pac-man etc sort of patterns. |

Period. yes - same...more scrapbooking for sure...and more photos of me scrapbooking would hurt either I need to do something involving dinosaurs same - I have so much dino paper yes I need to make loads of Christmas cards same Get cozy on the couch with a book. Wear a knit sweater. Have on fuzzy socks. same in addition - I need to spend time in the fall/winter somewhere where it isn't shorts weather and the leaves change and snow falls. I need to go bowling and to the movies and some military museums/displays
edited to add - I need to wear pink and/or purple more often in photos and so does my family - or at least stuff that I can USE pink/purple to scrap with |

Great question, great thread!
In addition to simply needing scrap more (I need to retire!!!), I evidently need to:
+ go to the beach a LOT more and take more photos of things that are NOT just endless waves, sky, and sand
+ make a whole lot more Christmas cards!

I need to defy nature and live forever to use my stash. I have a lot of projects started that have supplies sitting here unused; daughter's wedding 5 years ago; a pet album; an album about our experience with 2020/Covid; a Hawaiian vacation to name a few.

I need to actually DO WITL, make a ton of coffee ( I bought everything..paper, stencils,stamps haha) and take some more trips.
What I don't have enough of is dog stuff for the amount of pictures I take of my dog lol.

I need some beachy sea otters, seals, and west coast vibe materials. I also need to do an intensive fall experience lol my kids are grown, and so I get a day or weekend here or there.. I remember when my daughter would come home (New England) with friends from college and we would fall bucket list. It was soooooooo fun to scrapbook those pictures. Some of my favorites, ever! My son, dog and I did fall professional photos every year for about 6 years…. This is my reminder to do it again! Great thread! |

This year… I could have been on the design team with a rule to only use on brand/current product. Odd for me! But dog stuff. I still haven’t found a collection that really captures my fuzzy bestie. She’s just one of a kind. Like… lazy, cozy, fuzzy socks wearing dog (she doesn’t wear fuzzy socks.. she makes my socks fuzzy!) and epic adventure nature dog. I’m scrapbooking today (go me!!) and I am trying to stash bust the AE Nature kit. How hard would it have been to put a big ass paw print or dog tracks on a green card that subtly matches the kit? Hahaha I’m hopeful Ali’s thinks about such things now that she is less in the era of documenting a houseful of kids and more into documenting her daily with her dog. |
