I saw that Becky Higgins is going to offer a 2 in square punch. That will be very helpful even though it does have rounded corners and I would prefer square. I also love the new Atlas line from Pink Paislee. That may be the line I use for our vacation album (wherever that may be). linkThanks for the link. Atlas is beautiful!

I haven't seen any I really want yet. I think there is a lot of pink and with two boys, I don't use it that much and it is not really a color I like that much anyways. I really wish there were more lines with blue in them.

Does anyone have a good link to a website that lists all the new releases? Nancy Nally at Scrapbookupdate.com does a nice roundup of new products introduced at CHA HERE

Does anyone have a good link to a website that lists all the new releases? And you can watch some videos from CHA by Noell Hyman on her website Paperclipping.com

Nothing has really jumped out at me in a wow kinda way so far but I like the look of the new Ruby Rock-it collection.

Where are you all ordering your new goodies from?
I am a sucker for anything Echo Park does....

Except from the new distress markers and pads, I doubt if I'll buy anything... Which probably is a good thing.

Not only do I not get the HS minc machine, but I watched the CraftTestDummies video on it and Heidi really turned me off. Someone else was to demo it, and she came up behind her and started almost heckling her. You could tell Heidi was making the demo girl uncomfortable and it was just awkward to watch.

I found a cute collection by echo park called Jack & Jill, there is a boy's collection and a girl's collection and since I have boys, I'm always interested in boy lines!

After watching some of the CHA videos on paperclipping.com, I liked Webster's pages the best of anything I saw. It still has pink but I like Allison Kreft's new line - especially the papers. I may end up getting a few of those once I use up some of my stash. I also like the rub ons in Crate Papers Valentine line.

We will be carrying a number of items from CHA including the WeR Fuse, Echo Park, Simple Stories, Bella Blvd, Prima, Doodlebug, Crate Paper, Pink Paislee, and so much more! I'm leery to do a pre-order on my website though.

Does anyone have a good link to a website that lists all the new releases? My podcast this week is all about our favorite CHA releases plus we have links on our site to all the collections we loved based on sneak peeks from the companies. Here's a link... The Scrap Gals Podcast "CHA Faves"

I remember something like this that came out years and years ago, maybe when I was in art school. You needed to print or copy the design with a laser printer or toner based copier and then you used a little tool that heated up to bond the foil to the toner on the paper. Long story short, it didn't work. At all. This looks like the exact same concept repackaged.

There was a long thread somewhere (maybe Studio Calico?) that most of the 2" punches were not true 2". The measurement of 2" was taken as a diagonal diameter or something...which meant basically that they didn't fit a 2" pocket. I am not a pocket scrapper though, so I could be wrong.

The machine they are selling is $50 without Heidi's name on it. Works just the same. It has 2 rollers instead of 4 and 2 heat settings instead of 5 but I'm pretty sure myself and my customers can deal with that for $100. Maybe I'm a bad store owner for not getting the more expensive machine and trying to make the extra $100 but I just don't think there are enough people in my area that are going to spend $150 on a machine to foil some paper. It's a trendy/fad that eventually will be out of style. Now, the idea is kinda cool that I can foil whatever I want (even Heidi's stickers, etc) with the Thermoweb machine, and I can probably talk myself into $50. At $150 it was a no go for me, and I'm a tool junkie! LOL

Had a bunch of colored foils and a handheld tool, but the problem was it didn't get hot enough to really bond the foil to the toner and the end result wasn't great. Hopefully the process has improved over the years because what I had was expensive and a sorry disappointment. It would be a great thing for a store to have if it actually works.

I really liked the new Crate Paper stuff, Maggie Holmes and the Shimelle line. I love her wood/epoxy buttons! Not into any Tim Holtz, Heidi Swapp or the Fuse thing, although it's a neat-o tool. Some Lizzy stuff was cute, especially those gold heart Thickers, and several of the Amy T. items. Kelley Purkey's wallet album-thingy was cool too, great for a small mini-album.

That's quite ridiculous then. Wow. Thanks for sharing that! I'll have to measure mine now! I do have those Simple Stories Photo Crops that have a 2" square. I'd probably just use those now anyway.

I have several hundred packages of Prima flowers. ACOT calls me The Prima Lady. I had to get rid of paypal because shopping became my obsession and tons of stuff was showing up day and night.
I have enough pretty paper. Tons. I have plenty of great embellishments. I have punches, dies and stamps.
What's left?
I may preorder a bit bit I also might wait until ACOT gets stuff in stock.

This is the first time I've gotten into the CHA buzz, and I've been watching a lot of the CHA 2015 videos on YouTube lately. Better late than never, right? (Getting ready to be an empty nester soon.) The paper lines I will be watching for are Simple Stories "Say Cheese 2" & "I Am" and Graphic 45 "Artisan Style". At some point I may splurge on the new Big Shot, since I don't have a die cutter (just Silhouette) or embosser. The new WRMK 3 in 1 punch board looks useful, so that's a maybe. I already have some Shimelle and Maggie Holmes from last year, and their new stuff looked like more of the same. None of the other lines from AC said "buy me". The Tim Holtz booth had lots of goodies, and I'll probably get some new little hardware pieces for shadow boxes. Love the new color of the month idea. He has such a great camera personality and I really enjoyed all of the videos with him. He should have a TV show! I'd watch it. I loved watching Dyan Reaveley's demonstration. I didn't know anything about her before. She seems so authentic and creative. Her paints look amazing. I'd like to try them and see if I can put together a more toned down version of her multimedia work. Or maybe I'll reinvent myself with a 60's psychedelic style.

I want the fuse tool from WMRK. I don't do pocket scrapping, but I think this could be a lot of fun with traditional scrapping! WMRK fuseMe too! The other thing I want is the Simple Stories booklets that are supposed to fit in 3x4 and 4x6 pockets.

I will be getting all the new colours in the distress ink line. I really am interested in the new WRMK tool to make your own photo pockets. There was one new stamp I liked that Tim Holtz released think it was called city scapes
Hmm there wasn't too much other there I was in need of or even want. Few memory box dies. The cross stitch shapes.

A nice challenge blog to use your stash is the counterfeit kit : love them, I am making my january kit now... But it didn't keep me for ordering the cocoa vanilla papers (seriously, I never felt that for PAPERS before! That's just crazy), but that will be all... I think I will try to use the new cha things as inspiration to dig my own stash looking for similar items, or making my own. I'll be visiting my daughter in Aus. next month. My plan is to place an order for the Cocoa Vanilla kits just before I leave so they can ship to her house and I can bring them home in my suitcase. With 2 grandsons, I need them, right?
