I'm really going to miss this channel if it disappears July 10th. It's such a wealth of information. I think I'm more disappointed about this going away more than the website. I just wish there was some way to save the channel without having to download a ton of videos to my laptop.

I've watched a few and even the older ones are still great to watch. It really won't hurt them to keep it up, but we'll see in a few days

Though I'm not sure if there is a financial component to their YT channel. If there is, then that's probably a good indicator it will be gone by this week.

I've been binge watching Glitter Girl. It makes me so sad that all this great inspiration may be gone on the 10th.

Me too. I've also gone back thru several Glitter Girl adventures over the past week or so. However, as I watched GG over the past 2 1/2 yrs, I took notes and have a GG binder so at least I can refer back to that. I still need to re-visit Jen Gallacher's videos and some of the Garden Girl videos from last year. Oh no there just isn't enuff time! Maria

I agree! I've downloaded several but am still hoping they'll be available elsewhere. So sad to lose all that great inspiration.

I agree with all you gals! I am binge watching everything I can, printing, and taking notes, and yes, it is very sad to lose so much inspiration and great layouts. it is bad enough that TPs is closing, but to take away all the videos would just be rubbing salt in the wound.

What would be the point of taking down the videos? They don't pay for those on You tube, right? Maybe they are thinking they could monetize the material later?

It's bad enough they deleted the boards with no notice. It would be kind of snarky to take down all the videos, especially since they aren't paying for web hosting. Well, many of the ex-garden girls have their own websites and youtube videos. Scrapbook.com has free videos and classes. I haven't check them out yet but maybe some of you have reviews?

I'm so sad about the workshops I've paid for. I was just thinking today that I need to rewatch some of my favourites before they're gone

I want to say that someone told me once that once a video hits a certain number of viewers, they begin to get paid for their video. If that's true then maybe they will keep their channel up as a way to generate some income....I hope!

Add me to the list of those who have been binge watching Glitter Girl. I wanted to rewatch all my favorite episodes in case the channel goes down tomorrow. I will really miss these!

I really hope they leave the YT channel alone. I can't see why since it's free that they'd have to shut it down as well but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I commented on one of the other 2Peas thread about the website shutting down tomorrow. I emailed them earlier this week about their YT channel & if it would be gone too. Haven't gotten a response as of yet which is really no big surprise.

My faves are Stephanie Bryan and Nancy Damiano. I love Nancy's videos. Never watched Stephanie's until recently. The storytellers series wasn't a favorite of mine but I have to say I enjoyed Jill Sprott's narration during her videos.

It seems insane to totally remove them from Youtube. I can't think of any good reason why they would have to.

Yes I love Jill's too. I think videos are so different from just looking at someone's work. I might not relate to someone's work until I see it in a video because the way they present their ideas, methods and artistry wins me over sometimes. I just love an engaging scrappy video. I really prefer to watch them from people who are a polar opposite style from mine. I can do my style - I want to see how they do theirs. But I do have to love the finished project to continue to watch their videos.

As of this moment (10:57 a.m. on Friday, July 11th) it appears that they are still up. I just went to YouTube & clicked on my TwoPeas subscription channel & all of the videos popped up. Click on Shimelle's latest & it immediately played. I know this could change at any moment, but at least for now, I'll be binge-watching, too!
