I was talking with a friend about Quickutz, and I had a hazy memory that 2Peas had an exclusive Quickutz die that was the pea and bucket. She'd never heard of it, but I swear it was available at one time. Does anyone else remember it? If so, it would be cool to have it, just because it was a part of my history and would make a cool layout.

There was mention of this on another thread along with a picture of the die. I had never heard of it but would have liked to have it too! I am going to try to make something on my own to use on the layout I want to do with my twopeas info.

I have the die and am more than willing to share die cuts. But, costs would add up quickly to RAK them. And who would want to pay Paypal $1 or so for them? Paper, envelopes, stamps...
I'm open to suggestions if anyone has a better idea. And I wouldn't have time to do anything until the last week of July anyway.
I probably won't check back until tonight, but if someone has an idea of how to efficiently do this, I'm willing to die cut them. (So that I would still have the metal die.)

Basketlady - that's super sweet of you. What if those that wanted one sent you a SASE and some cash?

I think I remember seeing it ages ago, but I didn't own anything quickutz, so it really didn't give it much thought. Here's that thread with the picture of the die, about halfway down, basket1lady posted it I would also be interested in paying for some die cuts!

I have it ... somewhere. I've lent out my Cuttlebug but when I can I'd be willing to cut some. I remember (from doing it in the past for a party) it was pretty labor intensive (multiple cuts/colors) but turned out very cute! Anyone who isn't able to get the cut from someone else, message me and I'll try to find a way to make some.

That is so nice of your die 'owners' to offer to make it for others.
I think the SASE is a good idea.
I remember hearing about the die when it was available.

My memory was right! Now I hope I don't have to obsess over it until I find one. (That NEVER happens!) I'd love a die-cut though.

Peas with dies- anybody willing to ship to South Africa? If so, I would like to propose an envelope of about 6 cuts (SA Peazas, as we called ourselves) and Paypal payment to cover cuts and postage etc.
As an alternative, I have a little thin die from SSS that looks a bit like Fairy Podmother's avatar. Would still like the "official" cut/s though.

I would think that you could trace it with a Silhouette machine.
I'd be happy to mail things off to another country, but can't do anything until the last week in July.

I have one too but unfortunately it's in storage...when I locate it I'll post so those who still need cuts can have them:)
Funny how sentimental this die is for us now, lol! At the time I bought it I wasn't even sure I wanted it - now I'm thrilled to have it!

I'm thinking traceable with the new silhouette software too. Pretty much everything is up for grabs now right?

As someone else suggested, could those who want it, especially those in other countries, send an envelope that is already addressed and stamped so all that would have to be done is throw it back in the mail? If the cardstock is an issue, maybe the sender could include the cardstock cut small enough to enclose in the envelope, then the person just has to cut it and put it back in the mail.

It is a larger die I think and it is the original bucket, shadow and a pea. Very cute.

It's a 4x4 wafer thin die. Back from the Quickutz glory days.

Hello Ladies.
I was so happy to find a place for refugees. I was cleaning out some of my old scrap supplies and came across the very die that is being discussed in this thread. I don't remember when Quickutz released the exclusive die for Two Peas - but I bought it and a few other exclusives (the Piano, Bridge, Wine and cheese platter to name a few) at the time.
If there's enough of an interest, I'd be happy to accommodate requests for die cuts, providing it is not a violation of this Board.. My next step is to read all of the guidelines for membership to make sure I won't be violating any rules. Quickutz was selling this die before Lifestyle Crafts started selling their dies. When I searched for Quickutz today- I was taken to We R memory keepers website. With so many companies merging - It's hard to say if the die is available any more.
So happy to have found fellow Peas. I 'll have to look through my photo's, I remember taking a group picture at CKU in Boston. Time flies.
