I'll start with mine.
I Confess that I have a fixation on the original Prima style flowers, the kind you can stack together. I like to dump them out on my table, sort them into piles, stack them into interesting combinations, play with colors and textures. And then pack them all back away because I rarely ever actually use them on a project.

I have bought more than I can ever scrap but still dither over the cost difference between the regular ($6.99) and titanium ($8.99) fiskar replacement blades at Michael's...with a 50% off coupon.

I am addicted to scrap supply shopping...seriously addicted. I love to go to Michaels, Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's, Tuesday Morning, Dollar Tree, etc. Even if I only buy a few dollar items. I have more than I will possibly ever use. But it's what I do!

I don't shop anywhere cheap anymore. No more dollar stores or anywhere like that. Just online stores and Michaels. I don't have the room to store stuff anymore. We aren't talking about what I have done to the garage too. (or the storage locker...but that's for old stuff...we don't talk about that either).
I only buy really good stuff *read: expensive* and I haven't bought anything since July/Aug and I think I am doing fairly well. I just don't want to think about storing it somewhere right now. There just isn't room. I love it all though!!!

Well I have one I'm kinda embarrassed about. I own a Grand Calibur die cut machine and for Christmas my DH bought me a Tim Holtz bow tied die. Now I read in various places this die will work in my GC. Well it don't! So I go out and use ALL my gift cards I have been saving just to buy a BigKick at Michaels just for this one stupid die! Well now I'm told the die still won't work in machine I need 2 extra parts I wanna cry because I spent all my gift cards I had been saving just for something I can't really use right now.

I have more stuff than I can EVER use.... more stuff then I can even think about, so I sit at my scrap desk and I am afraid to scrap something, for fear I cant find the perfect paper or perfect line of embellishments to go with it. I have so much stuff, I just cant find a good way to organize it! Yet, I still went shopping this weekend and bought more stuff. My goal this year it to actually SCRAPBOOK and use SUPPLIES!!!!!

I still have my wire paper racks from twelve years ago--the ones that used to advertise in Creating Keepsakes. They dent papers and take up a ton of room. I am trying to get the paper off of them so I can get rid of them. I am hoping maybe someone will want them to display record albums or something.
I also still have my original red-ball-handle Sizzix. I need to get rid of that thing. I can't imagine anyone scrappy wanting it, and it seems ridiculous to send to Goodwill, and it seems really heavy to put in the trash can, but I need to bite the bullet and send it out somehow.
I like my old Ali Edwards design books and use those more than anything. I can't pull off messy, intentionally-haphazard pages.
I have five kids, and they do not have the same number of scrapbooks, even adjusted for age.

I have more thickers and letter stickers than I can probably use in a lifetime and I still have trouble finding the right color & size for some layouts.

LOL! little bit of a hijack but this made me think ( and then of course crack up laughing!!) Can you imagine any craft store full of Peas shopping...the chatter, the enabling, the sheer joy and fun of digging for stuff probably none of us needs but all love!! It would be epic!!!

I need a big block of time to actually get into a crafty mood and get something accomplished-- and I rarely ever get that amount of time-- so I sometimes just 'visit' my scrappy stuff in my craftroom, lol!! I shuffle around some papers, sift through the stickers and embellishments, etc. with no actual intention of doing anything with it other than looking at it all because that's all the time I have... lol!

I don't put stuff away after doing a project. I can't let go of paper scraps over 1" but I don't have a good sorting system so they stay on my work surface. It is down to less than 9" and I still work on a tiny spot.
No wonder small clear stamps and dies go missing.

I do several of the things mentioned previously. I don't consider them a BAD thing. I like to think that I am a planner and just have things available. I like to make different kinds of layouts so I need so many tools. I want to keep my stores open and running so I shop frequently. My scrap room is currently a mess so I have to go back in and either work or clean it up. I can spin this any way I choose. My husband has a large boat that takes $300 to fill with gasoline. I am just trying to keep up so he doesn't feel so badly about what he spends. My confession… I bought over ten feet of paper this past eight weeks. I am going to start helping a friend make kits. I had the best time shopping and even found a great supply store, Creative Impressions, up the street. They sell all of that ribbon/flowers/brads to LSS all over the world. It is way cheaper buying through them. So actually the money I am saving by buying embellishments there almost pays for the paper!

I have tons of flowers, but I can't remember the last time I used one!

I love embellishments but most of my layouts are layered paper and cardstock with only the occasional embellishment

I don't blink an eye at spending $60 on scrapbook paper, but can't spend $60 on clothes without developing a rash.

I can't resist free stuff that people are giving away. If there is a giveaway table at a crop, for example, I can hardly stand to leave anything on the table, especially paper. I always think I can use the paper for something, especially the back side. There are 2 other women I scrap with who are like me. It's like we eye each other to see who will go root around on the table first when someone puts stuff there. None of the 3 of us need anything at all, but I almost always end up using something that I pick up right there at the crop. The others stuff their new finds into one of their 25 bags of supplies. So that makes me not as bad as them... I have a deep fear of not having scrap stuff that I will 'need.' If someone else doesn't want it, I do. I don't stamp or do anything like mists and stuff, so there are some things I can resist. But paper, stickers, embellies... if I don't get to it first I have a hard time getting over the fact that someone else snagged something free that I might have been able to use. It's a sickness.

Sounds beautiful! Making page kits is the way to go. Grab the kit and scrap away. An hour or so later or when you are bored you are done! Well 3 hours later. And your friend, good to get her into scrapping.

I don't blink an eye at spending $60 on scrapbook paper, but can't spend $60 on clothes without developing a rash. Then apply for a job at a ladies' high end retail store. You will see how far $60 goes at your discount. Not very far. I buy clothes instead of scrapbook supplies now. I told the store owner I am here to sell and buy clothes. She smiled and said "I know." We get along great. Back to scrapbooking, I can't spend $60 on paper anymore. I just can't. I haven't found $60 worth of paper I actually like. That is a problem for me!

And your friend, good to get her into scrapping. We have scrapped together for years. She makes kits and sells them on line. She's asked me to do it with her for several years and I told her I would when I retired. I will probably retire in May so I am just preparing. And yes, I stacked the paper (most of it pads $5-$7 at Michaels) into two five foot stacks. Now most of it is in my overly stuffed closet. I have at least that much paper for my own personal supply. My friends that scrap usually want to come to my house because I have an abundance of paper and punches.

I think I'm going to stack ALL my unused paper up and measure it. Just to see how tall it actually would be. ...I'm morbidly curious... I can't imagine it will be much higher than 4 feet, but you just never know-- I have it in quite a few different places. (and I'm NOT telling my BF what the resulting measurement is!! )

I bought a cinch or bind it all, that I HAD to have, with all kinds of rings and supplies over a year ago (maybe 2). It's been sitting in my basement unopened since it was delivered.

My confession is that I still miss TwoPeas, especially the daily videos. I saved several videos before they closed and I have watched them several times now. I'm longing for new ones but I know they will never be there.

I love small embellishments, I have them beautifully organized by colour in watchmakers tins, but, I work fast and simple and don't make time for embellishments.
