Agreed and I love both of them (Days of Our Lives fan for many many years) but especially Eileen just seems to down to earth and normal.

I love Lisa V's tagline this year- "Throw me to the wolves and I shall return leading the pack" - I think she's still smarting from last season- and she's just sitting back, letting everyone get their comeuppance. Good for her. I almost fell off the couch when Yolanda said 'if she thinks I'm mothering her, maybe she should grow up'. She was so vocal in her criticism of Lisa V. for mothering Lisa- and now here she is, saying and doing the same things Lisa did. I love Eileen and Lisa R. I think they added back what the show needed. This is what I want to see- the houses and families and habits of BH wives... not bitching and fighting. I love them both. Lisa R. makes me LOL every week. I loved when she said "THAT'S appropriate for back-to-school night???" I was thinking the same thiing. I wasn't loving Yolanda last year when she was part of Brandi's Mean Girls - but I like her a little more this season. She seems more normal this season. I agree- her son seemed very self-conscious. I'm sure that wasn't his breakfast before a game- it was just what he was willing to deal with during his film time. Kyle- that whole mess was crazy. I think Brandi was across-the-board wrong. Don't get between sisters. Don't push another adult or get physical. Don't speculate on family dynamics you know little to nothing about. Just back the hell off. She's awful. I felt bad for Kyle. I don't always- but I did this week- and next week looks to be even worse for her. The comment Brandi makes about Mauricio is awful. She goes for people's soft spots, their weaknesses...and then she blames it on wine or being 'brutally honest'. Her apologies are insincere at best. The way she acts, the way she talks- it amazes me she has anyone in her life that doesn't have to be there. Kim needs to go- she should be a once-in-awhile guest, not a regular. I think she needs the money though. I forgot to tape WWHL this week. Argh! I can't believe Brandi said she's being bullied on that show. For one- she was all over Joyce last year for using the word bully. Two- the stuff SHE says on that show- and no one else is allowed to say anything about her? She's so self centered it's unreal. Word. All of it except that I'm just not in Yolanda's camp anymore, she's pulled too many shady stunts. From the "dream team' hearts at the dinner party, to attacking Lisa all season last year and continuing with the 'why didn't you invite mee..' comments about the Palm Springs appearance and Pump grand opening party. Why on earth would Lisa invite her to anything after she falsely accused poor sweet Ken of attacking her, when he never laid a hand on her, and the way she spit out "David would never have anything to do with you'. I can't with her..just because they are giving her a better edit this season, I can't unsee what I already saw her do. Same thing happened for me and Camille. She was so nasty and hateful the first season..when she came back she did a complete turn around and I just didn't buy it anymore.

Random thoughts: I'm in the minority and like Yolanda. I think she's one of the few women who would be a good friend. Sure she gets mothery but I'm okay with that. At least she has a smattering of sincerity. Oh, and she makes beautiful children holy cow. I like Yolanda too.

Let's face it, Bravo has decided that Brandi is THE housewife of choice this season - seriously could so live without her on the show at all, but she's way out of control. She's an alcoholic out and out and I'm always ashamed that Bravo sells out these women and their obvious addictions.
I really like the cast except for Brandi. Kim is a hot mess and reminds me of my sister when she was still using. They live a lie - the ups, the downs and all the inbetweens and my heart hurts for Kyle because sometimes you just hope that things are better and then you get dumped on and duped again and you vow that you won't be roped in again.
Yolanda, for all her rich ability to be above it all, still is there for her kids and at least acknowledges their mistakes which is better than hiding behind the "I don't know anything" line. Definitely get the sincerity feel from her.
I like Kyle more often than I don't, but her kids are not happy or pleasant and that Portia needs to come off the show - she's a brat and it's only going to get worse.
Lisa R is AWESOME - she's the one I'd love to meet - she just comes across so real and has the "oh what the hell" attitude. I can see why she's still in the business long after most actresses' expiration date (according to the little boys in charge). I like her interaction with Eileen who has this nice normal family home and life. It's a shame that Bravo seems to think we need fugly drama queens to entertain us.
My co-worker is in SAG and also really good friends with Lisa V. Says she's really super nice as is Ken. Both are driven to succeed - but you'd have to put me out to pasture to deal with those ninnies at her restaurants! We keep talking about going out with others from work, but this fat chick would be very very intimidated so we've not pushed it. LOL
Brandi's friend looks like a porno duck ... how are doctors even in business that disfiguring people like this? Horrible!!
I wish the hair extensions would stop too - these women are a HOT HOT mess from behind - Bravo has definitely hired beginning hair stylists this year. OMG, they look awful.
And just think, we haven't even reached Kim's dog biting Portia yet!

I won't repeat all the previous things I agree with, but two thoughts that stand out in my head...
I thought I would pretty much hate Lisa R, and I'm really getting a kick out of her.
I agree the the Kim-Kyle dynamic has a million layers to it, but I do think Brandi is right that Kyle has some jealousy of Kim's successes. I think Kyle has a lot of self-esteem issues - like the episode where she talks about how she wanted to be a lawyer, would have been good, blah blah - I think she feels like she was always second place in everything.

I don't know about jealousy between Kim and Kyle. Kyle did a lot of acting as a kid too. I've never really gotten a jealousy vibe from Kyle re: Kim. I think she vacillates between mom-mode and 'I can't take your crap anymore!' mode. Yvonne- you're right about Yolanda. I totally blanked on that stuff. She was so vile. She was only too willing to go along with all the anti-Lisa stuff. And the way she talked to Ken- ugh. I do think Bravo targets a housewife to be the bad guy for a season- but I don't really think they needed to do it to Brandi. She does it to herself. And she spent all last year setting herself up for this year. She enjoyed putting someone on the outs...she enjoyed seeing Lisa ostracized. But she was too drunk and dumb to realize it was going to come back and bite her.
