I scrapped for 10 years I guess? I still have all my supplies, don't know who would want out of style paper. You would be surprised - I think there are probably many people like me out there who don't really follow the trends and scrap with whatever paper or embellishments they like whether they are brand-new or years out of date. I know I would be thrilled to come across your 'out of style' paper at a yard sale or on Craigslist because some of the older styles were more me than some of the newer ones.

I scrapped for about 10 years. I have purged a lot of my supplies, but kept quite a bit too. I have a layout that I am working on that has been setting on my desk since last winter. I used to take pictures to match a paper I had. Now I only scrap special moments or a rare really great photo.

I actively scrapbooked for 4-5 years, then switched over to rubber stamping, card making, mixed media, etc... Stopped doing that about 5 years ago, and just started again a bit a few months ago I still have about 1/2 of my old stash, kicking myself for getting rid of what I did!

I only scrapbooked for maybe 3 years total. I have already donated most of my supplies to the girls' elementary school, when they were still going there. There is just no room to scrapbook anymore, the apartment we have is so tiny.
I have thought about digital scrapbooking, just have not really looked into the cost of it, and the particulars. So the pics I take are on the computer, but I have not been using the camera like I used to.
ETA: The last time I scrapbooked was probably around the time we moved here which was 2005.

I scrapped for about 7 years. Took a break because I wasn't feeling well, ended up having surgery. Then DH was diagnosed with cancer. We got through that and I was just contemplating starting again when DH was, again, diagnosed with cancer. My scrapping space is in our unfinished basement. I want to go down and scrap, just as a distraction if nothing else. However, the place has been taken over by spiders....they terrify me. When I was down there all the time I'd see some here/there but since I haven't been down there in about 3 years they've claimed the space as their own. I know I should just "get over it" but I can't seem to do it. Spiders taking over my scrap space? I'd have to burn it all and start over. *shudder* How is your dh doing now? I'm so sorry you are having to deal with cancer. (((HUGS))) Exactly. Burn it down! Tell me about it. I wanted to bug bomb the basement but I've been told that if there's clutter it's a waste doing it because spiders will hide under stuff and not get killed. DAMMIT. Needless to say, there is clutter....tons of clutter. So I need to suck it up and do it but I am having a hard time making myself do it. Thanks. DH is going for treatment #4 tomorrow. The cancer migrated to both lungs (we've been told it's inoperable) so the chemo has been a lot worse for him this time around. But we're going to a top notch facility (Dana-Farber) and he beat it before and he will beat it again. He's been upset because he's out of work and we're having issues making bills (the last cancer fight exhausted our emergency fund as it included 2 surgeries). I keep telling him that his job is to beat this, my job is to figure everything else out. I have a line on a second job that I'm hoping will pan out. So, the spiders are safe for now because I won't have time to scrap....but just the thought of them reproducing down there. ARGGGGGG!!!!!

First how long did you actually scrapbook, and how long have you not been scrapbooking? I scrapbooked for probably 5 years or so, stopped about 3-4 years ago. It just became to hard with two kids.
Do you still have supplies, or did you sell them all? I still have a lot of my scrapbooking and stamping stuff. I have a whole closet full of stuff I need to go through with paper and shelves full of stamps. I plan on going through them sometime soon and either making myself a new scrapbooking space or just getting rid of it all.
What do you do with your pictures now? I have printed some out, but not a lot. I am years behind on printing them. I've basically been keeping all the memory cards and just trying to store them as I can. The printed pictures are just in boxes, I do have school photos and stuff in a bin ready to be scrapbooked. It would take a lot of money to catch up on just printing the photos I have taken since I stopped. I am trying out Groovebook for my iPhone pictures, but haven't been thrilled with the quality on those, but I love how they come in little books that are easily printed and stored away.

I'm not sure how many years I scrap booked for, but I'd guess around ten.
I do still have all of my supplies and plan to use them eventually.
Right now, my photos are all stored on an external hard drive or my phone. I really need to do something about that...

I scrapped for about 10-12 years and I haven't scrapped in about 5-6 years. I make photo books sometimes. I still have my scrap supplies. I don't want to get rid of them because I would like to scrap again some day; however, I am thinking about digi scrapping instead of paper. As for paper being out of style, I am sure there is paper in my huge stash that I would never use but I have seen a lot of paper out today and a lot of it doesn't look that different from what is in my stash. As for what do I do with photos today..........I sometimes make a photo book but those are usually of a specific trip rather than general photos throughout the year. Yep, exactly what eebud said.

I've been scrapbooking since HS. 20 yrs plus. I switched to digital about 5yr ago or so. Now I mostly do cards and other crafts. The wood blocks, home decor type stuff. But I've gotten lazy. I want to get back into it. We're redoing our office/craft room so hopefully that will motivate me again. It was great therapy. That was one of the reasons I started doing it. It was very therapeutic, to work with paper and get creative. It also helped with my insomnia.

I scrapbooked for about 10 years, with the last year or two of that being digital. Then I got busy and stopped. I haven't gone back and have not felt compelled to go back.
I have all of my stuff still and if I could sell it all at one time I would gladly do it as it is just taking up space in the basement. Cricut, cricut cartriges, Creative Memories everything, CTMH, some Stampin' Up, you name it, I probably have it.
My pictures now get backed up to external hard drives and occasionally printed.

I scrapbooked for about 7 or 8 years. I was never much of a collector- I tended to buy and use right away- so I still have all my remaining stuff. It fits into one rolling tote and one messenger style bag. I still use it quite often for smaller projects (ex: a couple days ago, I made some pretty tags for bins in my daughter's room).
Last year was the first year I didn't do an album and I haven't done anything with the photos yet. I will likely do photo books from shutterfly when I get around to it.

I collected supplies for probably 10 yrs. If you add up the time I actually scrapped, I would say maybe 2 weeks? 3? I still have all my stuff. I don't think anyone would want it and I still have hopes that I'll scrapbook again someday. In the meantime I do make cards still so I can use my supplies for that.

I probably started scrapping in 2000 and have scrapped off and on for years. My most intense years of scrapping were the early years, probably until about 2005, but I definitely never stopped. I started scrapping more this past six months in preparation for my middle ds' graduation. I really wanted a complete set of scrapbooks for him to display at his grad party. I didn't get a complete set--just ran out of time and some pictures were sadly lost (still trying to get some of them back; they're trapped on an external hard drive that won't turn on), but I had enough to create a beautiful story of his life. It sort of revitalized my love for it and I'm hoping to do more. I loved watching people go through the books and ooh and ah. I have a picture of my ds' friends laughing and enjoying the books at his party. To me, nothing else is the same. I love the artsy aspect of it (I'm not particularly artistic, but I *feel* artsy when I work on some of my pages), but mostly I love the storytelling. Combining journalling with photos is key to me and is something I hope I'll never stop doing, in some form or another.

I started scrapbooking in 1996. I burned out a couple of years ago, and I gave serious thought to selling as many of my supplies as I could on eBay. I'm so thankful that I didn't, because the sb bug has bitten me again and I look forward to scrappin again very soon!

I scrapped for 5-7 years I think. Still have my stuff & very occasionally do some but so many other things take my time now. I get photo books printed, one for each year & others for particular events (ie one for each holiday we go on etc). I also have a lot of framed photos in the house.

Paper from about 98-04/05 ish. Life just got in the way. About 2010 I purged a lot of stuff, just gave it away, and still have a lot of paper, etc that we use for school projects etc. I need to get rid of most of the rest. The stuff really taking up space is all the memorabilia - don't want to keep it, don't want to trash it. Lately all I do is Shutterfly books, one a year or so.

I started collecting supplies in 1997 and scrapped here and there. I still buy occasionally and keep aware of the latest trends, but all I ever do these days is the occasional card or help with a school project. I do purge and donate every year though. I thought about purging and donating all my supplies but I still hope to scrap one day so I'm keeping a lot of it for now.

I don't remember when I last created a layout and I have not even made a card in almost 1.5 years. Not because I don't want to but after my dad's illness and death I didn't really feel motivated plus life rather got in the way. In the meantime, I have been taking painting and drawing classes, so at least I have still been creative. I am still a scrapper at heart, though and can't wait to scrap again, hopefully soon.

I paper scrapped for about ten years off and on, then ran out of space to keep all of the 12x12 albums and went over to digiscrapping. I still do that every so often when I think something special needs recording. Have just started sorting out and getting rid of my paper scrapping supplies though after keeping them all these years!
