This board has fewer posts to a page before it starts a new page for a thread. So when I come to this board a thread will quickly have 5 pages which is a bit overwhelming for me to want to catch up on. The previous board had 50 posts to a page.

Great idea, Annabella! I'm curious to know if that's something that can be changed.

I guess I don't understand why it's a problem. Why is it easier reading 1 page with 50 posts then 2 pages with 25 each.
Personally I like the shorter pages.

I'm a fan of the shorter pages as well, but only because one needs to scroll to the top to go back to the main page of whatever forum you are in. I know there is a shortcut to do that, but I need to figure it out on my computer LOL!!

This format has 15 posts to a page, I think 2Ps had a different number depending on length of posts but it was at least 4 x as many as this format, like Annabelle said - around 50 sounds right.
To answer your question Lindas, it is easier to not have to keep turning the page. Just when you get into reading you have to go to the next page, it is a MINOR inconvenience but I can see where it will get annoying over time.
We'll have 100 page threads!

I'm not sure if it's possible. I'm on another Proboards and noticed the same thing. One good thing, if you're not aware, is that you can click on "new" next to the thread title, and it will take you to the spot you last left off at. So you don't have to scroll through every post to get to the last one you read for those long threads.

I would love the number of posts per page increased. It isn't a huge deal, but changing pages so often slows me down p.

I would love the number of posts per page increased. It isn't a huge deal, but changing pages so often slows me down p. This is why I asked in another thread here to have the avatar's reduced in size. If they were a smidge smaller, there would be less whitespace at the bottom of each post. I assumed that would change how many posts there are per page, but I see from yivit's post, that's not really true, although it will make each page shorter with less scrolling.

I'd love more posts to a page too, although it's not a huge deal breaker!

In the pro boards app you can change it in your settings, the highest is 50 per page.
