We went last July and stayed at www.grizzlyrv.com. It is a really nice rv park, very clean close to town. The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center just down the road is awesome, and not to be missed! It is probably a 45 min drive into the park each day though. There is an rv park inside Yellowstone. It is called Fishing Bridge.http://www.yellowstonenationalparklodges.com/lodging/camping/fishing-bridge-rv-park/ I'm sure there are more, but I've heard this one is best inside the park. You really should spend some time in Grand Tetons too. Jenny Lake is beautiful. We got up early one morning and took a boat out to Elk Island, where the boat crew cooked us breakfast. This was on Jackson Lake. Stunning view! We also spent a couple days in Jackson Hole. Great little town! Have fun, and do allow yourself plenty of time to see it all. Now is the time to get those reservations!

**Bump** Thank you all very much for your help/advice. We are really just getting in to the planning stage now.
I've got to get on the ball before it all fills up...
Anyone have any other tips or favorite things to share?
TIA!!

styxgirl - If you camp at Fishing Bridge, you can take the car to all areas of Yellowstone. We aren't campers, but stayed at the Lake Yellowstone hotel and made day trips to every area and to the Tetons. I disagree that you can do the whole park in two days. We took most of the little side roads in the park and saw spectacular scenery. Be prepared for a lot of traffic in July. Just relax and enjoy! I can't remember if the it's the upper or lower falls you can hike down to - I recommend that.
