Grad students are not eligible for grants at all. It's only loans for grad school. Or you can do what I did and apply and get accepted to programs that have assistantships and tuition waivers. No loans, and the fees for school each semester were under $500. Worked out great!

No loans, and the fees for school each semester were under $500. Worked out great! Most of the people I know who received a Masters in the STEM field did so at no cost. There is lots and lots of money available for grad school for the right major. My husband's degree was paid for plus he received a monthly stipend. I think it was through the NSF as he also interned with a federal lab.
