Cannot stand the hearing-impaired lady. Absolutely cannot stand her. She is a big cry baby. Plus, immediately after locking in Will as the 3rd person in her alliance, she told him that Vince (you know, the other guy in her alliance) was going around telling everyone he thought Will was weak in challenges. DUMB move on her part. She had it locked down and then lost it seconds later. No kidding! What the hell was she thinking? She gets the stupid award so far…
She'll probably be next to go now out of that tribe. She didn't do Will any favors either; he might have voted with Joe and the young girls, but he is on the outside of that alliance.
I liked Vince when he wasn't talking. He's probably used to being the peacock...too bad his ego is so fragile that a younger stud who is attracting the girls causes him to be insecure and jealous. I'm guessing he'll be cringing watching that back on tv. Embarrassing.

I really like Joe on the no collar. I like looking at him. I like him better when his hair is pulled back but he is a cutie! Kind of looks a bit like Orlando Bloom.

Was it my imagination or did Vince shave his arm pits? He didn't shave his chest so it just seemed odd to see shaved pits on a man. He gave me the creeps. I would be afraid to sleep with both eyes closed if he was around.

I am in the minority, but I was kind of liking Vince. He reminded me of Coach. I miss Coach...

I didn't think there was anything creepy about Vince at all. I just got the impression that in his own group of friends in real life he seems to have a certain position - I think he's the "it" guy that they all like and respect and go to for advice & listen to and he's got used to that. Suddenly he's in this new environment and he's lost who he is, no-one stops to listen to him or hugs him or praises him and he really struggled to deal with that.
I think the parallels between him and Coach are fairly accurate, Coach had a similar thing happen to him in his first season, he thought he would just be liked and respected and people would love his outrageous stories, and no-one did & he was really the outsider on his tribe the first time around. Then when he came back, he knew what to expect and handled things very differently and ended up being a lot more liked and went further in the game.
That's one of the reasons I keep watching this show, I find how people react fascinating, some people you can really see how they are in real life and then how they can't cope at all when their environment changes (and that would be me!) and others you see how they have the ability to adapt to new people and new situations, even when it's quite different to their normal life.

Getting to this late. Nina is the hearing impaired woman (although I had to look that up to be sure). I agree with you all, she's playing very poorly. I can see where her feelings might have been hurt, but regardless-if that were me I'd let it roll of my back when the youngsters came back (she's 41) and be all smiles and welcoming. Crying, whining and letting people know they've hurt your feelings just puts a mark on your back and sure enough-that's what she did. Suck it up buttercup. This is Survivor. Never let them know they've hurt you.
I really felt for Will in the water challenge especially at tribal when he said, "Jeff, water is the black man's Kryptonite". Or however you spell that. Nina was also an idiot for letting it slip that Vince was walking around concerned about Will's health in the challenges, but I'm awfully glad she did, because I like Will and did not want to see him going home yet. I do think Will will be able to talk his way out of why he had to vote the way he did-I think the others in his tribe will understand this reasons. At least some will. And I'm glad Vince went home.
Vince WAS so NOT playing the social game. How dare he challenge Joe to admit to everyone that Joe was behaving poorly (oh I can't even remember what it was now) but it was ludicrous. Put simply Vince was super jealous of Joe since the day Joe built fire for the tribe. He was like a male cat fighting for top cat status. When Joe comes up to camp with a bag full of crabs, Vince grabs a bag and has to start catching crabs too. It was pathetic. It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't for him (Vince) coming on so strongly with Jenn (the sailing instructor) making her hug him last week, asking "but do you find him attractive?" That was the creepy part.
Anyway, that was last week-let's get back to this week. Nudity! Oh my gosh. It was all over the place. First it was "the professor". For him I thought it was a brilliant move. He paid homage to the very first winner of Survivor-Richard Hatch, who used to walk around the beach naked, and for Max it was a way to be alone, get on camera and get some quiet swimming time. Once Shirin saw Max she decide to copy him and takes off her bottoms instead of her top-why? If you are a woman and decide to strip doesn't it make sense if you are going to only take off one piece you'd take off your top? At least it does to me. Anyway it was funny to see those guys unable to talk around her.
And of course the young girls going skinny dipping. Dalton said they did it just for fun and would have done it if the cameras had been there or not. I have to say I agree with him and if I was in my 20's and in that location, I would have probably done that too. What about you?

Nina, Nina, Nina. What were you thinking?!! Will tells you what the other 3 are planning, so you know he's on your side. Take his vote, get rid of one of those mean girls and be happy you're in control. Why the hell would you tell him Vince was questioning his health? Idiot!! I was so hoping she'd go home for being stupid. I did feel bad for her when the younger girls were leaving her out (yes, she could have put in more effort, but they made it pretty clear they wanted nothing to do w/her), but she shot herself (and Vince) in the foot. It's like Keith all over again! Just stick w/the plan and shut up!! She needs to go.
I really wanted to like Vince, but his whole thing w/sailing girl (Jen?) bugged me. He wanted an alliance w/her right off the bat and then started questioning her when he saw her talking to Joe. What is he, 12? And then his whole thing about Joe 'acknowledging' that he had steamrolled him? Get over yourself.
I would have rather seen one of the mean girls go, but I'm not crying that it was him.
I'm sorry, I will never see the need for all the nudity.
