I would go for something more permanent if possible. Imagine the itch when growing back!
Congrats on the new man!

I use MSP but have never used the cream. I buy the extra strength powder and mix it in a small bowl... Think mud consistency. It's best to do this when you are alone. Use some petroleum jelly to coat "the dude in the boat" if you know what I mean. Cover all mucous membranes with petroleum jelly then apply MSP to any hair you want gone. Set your timer... For me 7 minutes is perfect. Then get a plastic spoon and start scraping . Do this part in the shower. All the hair will come off and you will be as smooth as a baby. Some people use an old credit card to scrape. Scrape in the direction of hair growth. I think figuring out the time to leave it on is the hardest. Good luck... Once you start, you won't go back. The best part is... No ingrown hairs! Best. Instructions. Ever. I vouch for the powder, too. Congrats on the SO, Cecilia!

Chemical burns hurt. Chemical burns on sensitive areas, um hurt. Chemical burns on thin skinned sensitive areas, ah take a long time to heal. Be careful and do testing on your skin. This. Definitely this. Congratulations on your new guy! How exciting!

How exciting, Cecelia!
I get rid of it all the old fashioned way...shave it off. I use a new blade every 3 days (disposable) and it gets smoother than using MSP. If you don't keep with the upkeep it does get itchy for sure.
I am also going to get permanent removal at some point. I like the look of that one me better than not.
Enjoy your new found happiness!

Just get waxed. All that farting about isn't worth the trouble for just a few days and think of the mess in the bathroom!

There are always groupons for waxing. You might want to try it out that way...get a deal on it anyway!

Chemical burns on the hoohah? Uh, no thank you. I'll just deal with what's there. I shaved a couple times and now have very sparse coverage, I'll take that as a blessing.
OP, congrats on the new guy!! Enjoy sharing your new MSP prettiness.

love MSP cream, and it does NOT smell like the powder, it's fine. Dh and i have been using it for about 2 years now? i don't know if i'm less sensitive or what, but i don't have to put any vaseline or protection of any sort on the man in the boat, just slather it on and leave 8 minutes and everything's cool, no burns. We don't scrape either, just use a wash cloth. FWIW i have super sensitive skin everywhere else and react to almost anything, but this is fine.who knew. i actually am able to use it on my face as well, but it does get a little pink so i do it before bedtime and let my skin calm down overnight.

Always wanted to try MSP when it was discussed years ago but was always fearful of burning my ladybits. Has the product changed or is it the same?

I have never seen or heard of this before. Where do you purchase it? And does it really work? Because I will tell you, I don't know if my hairs are stubborn or what, but Veet for bikini line did not work for me at all.

Hmmmm. .... Wouldn't that be a 'dudette in the boat'? NO! The clit is referred to as "the man in the boat". I don't want any women there. Actually, I've had a man use the product on me, and then I on him. It was a fun afternoon.

That is fun and exciting about the boyfriend! I have no advice about MSP, but my only advice is -- don't start anything you don't want to keep up! If you haven't felt the need to use MSP up until now, you really don't need to use it just for him. It's totally fine if you want to for your own comfort, but know that it is a commitment to shave or use a cream down there. It grows back in fast. I guarantee you he would be just fine with a little trim and shave around the edges, and if you do plan to keep it up long-term, professional waxing really might be easier.
Just my advice. Keep the hooha the way you prefer it and how you can realistically maintain it... he ain't gonna complain.

I don't know anyone, M or F, under 50 who doesn't shave either to a landing strip or fully. Ew. Pubes.
Have we had a post about that yet? I'm sure we have.

Well that's your taste. No pun intended. Not everyone is like you. I went to college in the 80s before this whole internet-porn-driven "must be skimpy or totally bare" trend started, and I assure you, somehow all the boyz seemed to be able to find what they were looking for. No one had a problem with it. In fact they were mostly delighted to be invited to the party, no matter how it was decorated. I still have a few college friends on my FB who never shaved ANYTHING back then and they still don't and yep they are all married to their college sweethearts. That's why I said no one UNDER 50 and *I* would complain! For me, it has nothing to do with porn or the internet. It's a matter of preference and cleanliness. But, it seems the over 50's do a lot of "I just trim the sides" and leave a bushy triangle of thatch. Even before I started shaving (at about 16, so 1986) I trimmed it short. It wasn't a matter of people not being able to find things either as I was 16 so it wasn't occurring, LOL. Pubic hair holds smells though. No one wants to go south and smell/taste pee. **shudder**
Also, in a bathing suit, who wants a puffy bush pooching up the fabric of your bottoms?
