I just put in an order at Blue Moon Scrapbooking for Public Library by October Afternoon (my beloved). I have been broke for a few weeks 'cause I'm paying down my Disney trip coming up soon. I knew that A Cherry on Top had it in stock and I stupidly mentioned that on my podcast and then yesterday when I went to get it - it was sold out!! Not that I single-handedly 'caused that - obviously I'm not that arrogant - but I do know of people who went there immediately and bought it. LOL Okay...I won't do that again before I get what I want! Thankfully Blue Moon had it in stock except for the journaling cards which makes me sick because I love them but I will hope to find them somewhere else someday. I am just so happy I got it before it was all gone! I have a sneaking suspicion we won't be seeing anymore product from OA. Did anyone else get Public Library? I want to use it to make layouts about my love of reading! |

Ugggg don't say it (I have a sneaking suspicion we won't be seeing anymore product from OA)... I LOVE their stuff (right now unfortunately I am broke) and can't buy anything at this moment. It will make me cry an ugly cry if they go out of business.

Oh it will make me cry an ugly cry too but they have been way too slow in getting things out for it to continue. Sad, sad, sad!!! I keep hoping AC will buy them!

I LOVE October Afternoon and was thrilled to see Public Library come out. Reminds me of the earlier collections when I first discovered OA about 3 years ago.  |

I'm waiting for my LSS to get it, but I have a feeling I shouldn't... my LSS has all OA on auto-delivery- supposedly- but it's been so long, I think I should buy it online before it disappears altogether. I love OA's style, too, but during their long hiatus from producing full-liine collections, my taste has slowly been shifting to Crate Paper and a few other mfrs. that have some of the same 'feel' to them.
And I totally want to use it for the same thing-- layouts about my love of reading, and my many fond memories of visiting the public library when I was little. Although I couldn't wait for it to come out, and I've already made one layout about growing up with my small-town library (a Carnegie library built in 1911).

I just ordered it. It has been in my cart at scrapbook steals for a week or so, thought I better get it too. I want to scrapbook about my love of reading, also about my daughters struggle to learn to read and how she now loves to read. Can't wait to get it! |

I thought they are in a partnership with websters pages or did that not work out  I agree that I will be horribly sad if they are no more. They are my favourite manufacturer as far as designs go but business model not so much. |

Glad you found the line. And it is probably best to mention favorite lines after you purchase them in the future as I think your podcast is gaining in popularity.

I sooooo want Treasure Map to happen before they fold. I don't want them to fold at all... I need to get the Public Library line and will probably do that this weekend. I really like it, but I love all things OA. |

I bought the collection at ACOT, shipping was high, over 15.00. And my paper arrived with the corner bent. But still love the paper.
I just wish OA was on the ball shipping their product, because it is so nice!!

Also remember in scrapbook steals that you can go into the archive and purchase past deals. Which is great and is unlike peachy cheap in that way. They also have super fast shipping. I usually get my order in about 5 or 6 days in canada. Which is great, I have ordered from them about 6 times and have never had an issue. Shipping is fairly reasonable but I do have to pay duty and taxes but the amount I save on the collections it is still worth it.

Hey TracieClaiborne...if you wanna mention my store in a podcast, I'd be OK with that! LOL But yes, the October Afternoon Public Library was a cool collection. I didn't get it for my store because most of my local customers wouldn't know what to do with it. And I hated to put it on the online store when other online stores were offering pre-orders 10 months ago. October Afternoon's a bit of a catch 22 I'm afraid. |

I bought some of it. Mostly the embellishments, but I did get a few pieces of paper. I just love that line, but I have so much paper that I really can't justify buying more.
