It is nearly impossible to get three female dogs to get along. Even well behaved, well trained ones. I've heard that, but I have 3 females that were introduced one at a time and had no problems. They all respected the first, and oldest, as leader of the pack. I'm currently caring for a male dog (that I would like to adopt) that was slightly more difficult, but that was because he is only about a year old and was a street dog. Now he's doing great, we are just trying to overcome his generalized mange and get him to grow some hair.

It does get kind of crazy with three. Walking them is nuts.

Our GSD is very dominate so we didn't want to bring another female into the house so we have her and two males again. For us that works really well. She can be queen and they can be her court jesters

We have 2 dogs and added a kitten. Does that count? LOL!
Wouldn't change a thing. But, the vet bills do get a bit daunting at times. It wasn't bad with just the 2 dogs and that is with ACL surgery. For whatever reason, the kitties bills seemed to put the expense over the top. But, that may be because her emergency happened on a weekend. We have the best veterinarian ever, though.
