I think the tread may be shot on mine as they are kind of slippery now. They are in great shape and i don't want to throw them out. I also can't afford to fall again. It hurts. Anyone else's clogs get slippery eventually?
Thanks,
I think I just had gone too many nights without sleep and was so overtired that I was beyond making good judgments like where to walk. I was wearing these jeans that we sell. If I hadn't been I would have really wrecked up my legs. There was not a mark on the jeans (these are nice jeans, too!) I was really lucky and it was a wake up call. Sleep more!

I have Birkenstocks and mine haven't gotten slippery. I've had them for a long time.

Take them to a shoe repair shop. They can best advise you.

I'm loving my Danskos, but the NYC sidewalks to chew up soles. I've been wondering about resoling, too, and will keep an eye on this thread.

There is a European Craftsman here in town who does shoe repair. (The guy in the mall near me is cantankerous) so I would rather go downtown to someone like him than the asshat in the mall. He will know for sure. I will post what I find out.

I would doubt it, because they're not soled to begin with, the entire base is molded. That said, I've never had a problem with my soles getting slippery, in fact, the only problem I've had, after 14 years, is the entire base literally crumbled apart. ETA: here's a page I found on google that offers such a service: dardanos.com/dansko-repairs/:So as long as you can find an authorized Dansko repair facility, it looks like they should be able to do something for you.

Good to see you! It looks like you have zero posts, I thought it was linked real time to your pea account. Weird to see two different versions, in the same post even, but glad you're still here

Weird to see two different versions, in the same post even, but glad you're still here I think I left Peas after my mom died due to acute crazy. I got rid of the Danskos because I fell once too often in them.
