It was a problem with ProBoards. Not all of the boards were affected, so there was talk that it may have been just one of their servers.
I was really concerned that it was an angry bear, though.

I was thinking we need somewhere to go as a back up in case anything happens to this board. I was worried when I couldn't log on! So addicted to this board. But I would have gotten much more cleaning done if it was out for a day. So happy it's back on.

I followed the link in the error message to the "official" ProBoards thread for reporting boards that are down and saw that ginacivey had already reported it. A number of other boards were also affected. Thanks, ginacivey! |

The pro boards server status said there was known issues. Lots of forums were reporting outage but not all forums were down. Glad we are back but maybe we need a back up plan....

It was down for me, too. I went to SCS General to see if anyone posted about it. Maybe we could come up with a place (like SCS General) we can look to for info about things like this.

But I am no facebook expert, so maybe that's my problem!

The closed but you should be able to find it in search. I believe the only ones that can't be searched are "secret " groups. This one you just search and ask to join then Admin will approve you.

I don't think admin would just close this board down unannounced, especially since there is nothing going on here that is out of control and it's free. She knows what we all went through with the loss of THAT board. I don't see her doing that to us. She's a NICE pea. (DISCLAIMER: As far as I know. I have no idea who she is.) |
