The gate needs to be bolted closed. They show Rick sliding the gate shut and then using a bolt to secure it. It doesn't latch by itself, that's why Father Gabriel failed at shutting the gate because it just popped back open. FG failed because he is a stupid piece of shit.. |

Only Rick, Carl and Michonne do. FG def is eaten up with guilt. I'm not sure why he killed the walkers though. Any ideas on that? I thought it was Morgan, but it wasn't. |

The map was left behind because FG led walkers to the church and they had to get out in a hurry. Some of them were off to rescue Beth. Rick expected to return to the church so there was no need to take the map.

Deanna's son is just as big of a dumbass for not staying behind to make sure the gate was shut. The second I heard him ask Father Gabriel to shut the gate I knew it wouldn't close all of the way. I also don't think that is the last of the gate causing problems.

Morgan's accent freaked me out. I wasn't expecting that! That's 3 Brits, right? Andrew Lincoln, Lauren Cohan, Lenny James & David Morrisey (the Governor) all have British accents. Lauren was born in the States but raised in UK so she's not technically British. |

Maggie's is the least British sounding accent out of the ones I"ve heard. Of course she can obviously turn it on and off at will. They all do a fantastic job with their southern accents. I've been a southerner my whole life and their accents are very genuine. I hate fake southern accents on tv and movies!

I was so mad that this trip landed this weekend, but either I went as a chaperone or the boys didn't get to go. So I sucked it up. I have one window open with your comments and am reading them as the show progresses and then I have a second window open so I don't have to go back and forth between posting and reading. The people Aaron left in the woods are either the wolves or the woman is enid's mom. No kidding bad timing huh lol!
LOL you sound like me when I watch TWD I have a FB page, walker sync and refugee page open as I watch haha!

I just finished watching a couple hours ago. Morgan is a badass. I hope he is in a lot more of the episodes next season now that he is back. Was the writing on the map a note that Rick wrote way back when they were together? Can't really remember and too lazy to rewind. I can't wait for Fear the Walking Dead and I can't believe that I am actually looking forward to a ZA series. Until Walking Dead I have NEVER watched zombie/monster stuff. It just has never interested me. That note was written by Abraham when he left with some of them to go to Washington and Rick was to catch up to them. |

Yea, you're right. Daryl knows about Morgan (they mentioned that on TD) but had never met him. When he saw Rick's name on the map he just put 2 and 2 together.

Lenny James (aka Morgan) was in Snatch! He was so great in that movie, so when I saw him on this show, I was very happy. It was a bit disconcerting to not hear his British accent when that's what I was expecting, so I guess I'm the opposite of those who were thrown off by his British accent.

Funny how she's all "We don't kill people" when Jessie's gettin' the shit kicked out of her and singing a different tune as soon as it involves someone in her family. I'm sure Morgan (not to mention Daryl & Aaron) is wondering what kinda shit storm he just walked into. Hopefully Rick will be able to explain about Pete and all will be well. That is, of course, until Glenn drags Nicholas in and they have to put him down, too.  I am liking Abraham more & more these days! And Eugene isn't dancing on my last nerve anymore, either. Will someone please explain the Wolves and/or the 'W' carved on people's foreheads? I still don't get what that's all about. Can't believe we have to wait til October!! |
