Thanks ladies . I asked my gal for an A-line lob (long bob) without a severe angle. It definitely took some getting used to, especially now that I have to style it everyday! Kiki, I love your hair wavy, I think you'll have better luck using a flat iron instead of a curling iron. I tried to wave mine with a curling iron and all it did was bend my hair a little. I guess I'll try with a flat iron next!

Bought a new curling rod today. I already have 2 curling irons, just not sure what sizes. I'll let you know how it turns out the first time I use them myself.

My hair cutI took the plunge 3 weeks ago without telling anyone. After years of traumatic experiences at the salon I would just let my hair grow and trim the ends myself. I finally met a hair stylist with my same thin hair texture who understands the way my hair works. She is worth her weight in gold, I'll never go to anyone else. When I click the link it says the image has been removed - in two different browsers. Did you chicken out and take it down?

Looks good! Today I just cut off 14 inches and will upload a photo too! I donated to Locks of Love. I've never really had short hair so I'm tripping out a bit right now and doesn't help that I'm third trimester pregnant and look "big".

KikiPea saw it so I figured I'd take it down since frankly, I get a little creeped out by some of the stuff I've seen happen to other people who have posted personal information. Thanks for calling me out, though! . ETA: If you want to see the photo I'd be happy to PM it to you.

This is the back of my head...I have the chemo curl going strong. I don't like it but I'm really tired of telling people that so I just smile now. Works out better that way

That looks like a good cut for giving you options on how to style it which is always nice. Enjoy it!

I just didn't know if it was something wrong on my end or if you really had taken it down and I meant the "chicken out" part as a joke. I hope your smiley face indicates you took it as such! Thanks. Actually, can you try to send it to me in ProBoard e-mail? I'm just curious if it works okay. If you don't want to, that's okay too.

Super cute!! And I like the wavy style, too.
I want to cut mine, but I'm still in a growing out stage. I'll cut later, maybe this fall?

A new hairstyle is often a great pick me up. Kiki I love yours - very versatile.
I had layered hair past my shoulders for years, got it cut into a choppy short style a few years ago and then about 6 months ago went red and really short (in my avatar). It is amazingly easy to style and was brilliant for our super hot Summer. I get so many comments on it. I was a bit worried about doing it for a wedding and formal occasions but that hasn't been an issue.
Keep sharing your lovely styles ladies, it is often inspiration for others to take the plunge.

So, this is my first attempt at curling my new do with the curling wand. A little scary since my hair is so short. I have a little learning to do and confidence to gain, but it's ok...for now. Barrel is 1 1/4. Might be easier with the smaller wand, but I don't want it curly, just wavy. ETA: YIKES, that's a big, close up pic of my face! :-P LOL

I love your new cut! My hair is currently just below my shoulders. It's longer than I've had it in years. I've worn it in a bob that fluctuates between my chin and shoulders for years. The hotter it gets outside, the harder it is to resist cutting it shorter. It's driving me crazy!

Super cute cuts everyone!
I tried the flat iron curing method and it looked great for about 30 minutes and then started falling out. Guess my hair doesn't want to hold a curl.

Love it! I'm curious about how to make the waves as well. I always end up with it being too "done" looking. Ilovebuble--your hair is very cute, too! It looks shiny and healthy. Adorable! I got mine cut about a month ago but don't really like it. It makes me hair wavier and it is hard to style. I have been lazy with styling this summer, though. Seems like it isn't worth the time if it is just going to look like crap shortly anyway. Kristin - the 'trick' to getting it to not look too done is to start curling at the root, and leave about 1/2 - 1" tail at the end out of the curling iron. I also always curl to the back. I learned by watching a you tube video - look for Michelle Money on YouTube. She's a hairstylist that was on the bachelor and I loved her hair. She uploaded videos showing how she did it.

@*Kas* I love Michelle Money's tutorials. Love her curl techniques the best and always get asked how I do my flat iron curls. KikiPea love your new hair. I second the especially wavy comments!
