Mine is one of my favorite pictures of our dogs Kenai and Koda. They were outside playing in the snow with my dd and stole her hat Kenai is on the left and passed away May 2013 so even though I have a new Samoyed puppy I will probably keep the snow picture up for a while.

Mine is an old graphic from the very first Printshop program. I've used it since the 90s on my return and mailing labels. It looks like me that's why I started using it.

Mine is of our most recent pro photo session. First one in 10+ years and since we have both lost 45 & 30 lbs.
I like changing mine, since I have to keep my Pea name. I also keep my siggy photo, so I need to change something up every once in a while

It's a knitted uterus with teeth sitting on a piano. 'Nuff said. Did you have a scary clown avatar at one time.

Mine is me. It was taken by my sister while we were in Hawaii. Living in Sattle it reminds me of sunny days when it's cold and dreary here. And...ditto what Lucy said. :-)

Mine was from last fall (on a windy day). I used it because when I first posted on Two Peas when I was thinking about discontinuing coloring my hair, a lot of Peas told me not to. But I love my silver hair and I don't regret it (but I won't lie - it was a long, hard process to grow it out)

I was in Morocco last year and was taken by all the feral cats throughout the country. I ended up with dozens of cat and kitten images, I just couldn't help myself. My avatar photo was taken in Chefchaouen....I just loved the Orange kitty against the blue. I'd like to change my avatar periodically, but I know how you all feel about that! Lauren, I'm having a blue vs white dress moment now--I see an orange kitty it no blue!

I like any photo that makes me look younger and thinner than I really am. This one is from last fall when I'd just had my hair cut and colored. I might keep it till I'm 80. Same here!! My photo makes me look younger (it was 4 years ago) and thinner, and I had also recently had my hair done. Now I don't want to change it because it is probably the last halfway decent photo that will ever be taken of me!!

He also acts as my enforcer; when I shout to DS to do something and he doesn't move within thirty seconds, Turriff goes and sits in front of him, frowning at him until he gets up. If I have to shout a second time, Turriff will start nudging DS with his nose, forcing him to act! That is so cute!! Can I borrow him to help out with my 10yo son???

Mine is a picture of my two Weimaraners (who have since passed away) in the back of our 1977 VW bus. They loved just hanging out on the bed in there with the back door open.

My avatar is of our four girls, the day we came home from the hospital after Evie Grey was born. Seeing it here makes me happy, and always reminds me of what's most important in my life. I always thought that was you in the picture with your children! I love the name of your youngest.

Mine is a drawing my daughter made years ago. She took a sheet of paper, turned it diagonal, then drew a picture that resembled me.
I turned it to scan it, and liked how it looked tilted.
I added the the copyright symbol years back when Peas were arguing the legality of pulling pictures off the web to use as avatars. I think that discussion actually started when someone posted a picture of Peanuts' characters she had made for her Christmas outdoor display, and someone posted that she legally couldn't use the images for her inspiration because they were copyrighted. That opened the door for people to call out peas for using images they didn't own (I recall Lauren's siggy being particularly attacked.)
So I added the symbol kind of tongue in cheek.

Mine is my girl poodle, Josephina (Josie or Jo-Jo), and she is 15 years old. She is old and somewhat cranky now. She is my mother's favourite and is the guardian of the family. We rescued her when she was 3 so we ave had her most of her life. She will die knowing she was loved and cherished. Her favourite place to perch is on my bed. She barks over and over to go upstairs to lay on the bed with me so she can go to sleep. She is very gentle and loving. She has a big bark and a huge heart. She gives kisses but only a few. She wants nothing more than to be loved. We love her so much.
I don't know why I am writing such simple sentences as I know how to write longer thoughts. I am tired and had a frustrating day, I guess.

I've been using my avatar since I first signed onto 2Peas in 2006 - it's the Penn State Nittany Lion logo. I've been a big fan of PSU for a very long time (my kids are grads) and I live about 10-15 minutes from campus on foot.

Mine is a photo of my first Great Dane, Alexander the Great, taken at a "pooch parade" event in Oklahoma City. The next year, that photo was used in their advertising. A friend and I were having lunch in a little restaurant close to our office and she kept looking at something behind me. I finally asked her what she had seen and she pointed out the poster. We both had a good laugh that Alex was famous.

Mine was taken around my 50th birthday (3 years ago). It's kind of appropriate for here because I did meet up with a pea that weekend- eebud - at a Dallas Stars game.

Mine was taken a year ago, just before 2Ps closed. I was getting sick of the previous one, since I'd used it for about 6 years. I should change it again, I've lost 30 pounds since then.
