My dear mother-in-law passed away Sunday morning. She told her daughters the day before, that her sister was on tv. Her sister had died years ago and the television wasn't on. I'd like to think she was there to comfort her. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Unfortunately I didn't witness this with my mom or my husband, because they were both unconscious, but I do believe.
Karmic- my mom had ALS. Horrible disease!

]About a week before my brother died, he said that he was woken up around 3 am by all the dogs that we had growing up as a children playing on his bed, kissing him and snuggling with him. Omg...how sweet! I want this too.

My mom was in the nursing home and the day before she went into the hospital she had her clothes packed and said dad had told her she was coming home. She was ready! The next day she went into the hospital and in two weeks was gone. Dad died 10 years earlier. That was a year ago and I miss her so much! She did say several times in the last 6 months of her life that she'd been talking to dad. He sat right there in the chair! He probably did!

I had a great uncle pass several years ago. In the 48 hours prior to his passing he talked to his father, mother, and 8 of his 10 siblings. The 8 he talked to were the ones that had already passed (he was among the youngest of the family) The two he never spoke to were not there but were very much alive in other cities. During those hours he never spoke to or about his wife, children or grandchildren. It was as if this world was unknown to him.

I'm sorry for your loss. If I were in your position, I would find great comfort in knowing that my mom was there with my grandmother at the end.
