LOL. I'm a SAHM and I guarantee I'm not coloring!!! If I get any time to actually do a craft, it's purposeful like making greeting cards, so we don't have to buy any! But that's rare, like 3 times per year!

Nope, not me! I hate to color. Makes me have to sit still too long. Oops...bad grammar. It should be - not I -

I'm not a SAHM but I am home due to my illness permanently. I actually did color today. With my 4 yo niece though. Not "adult" coloring books. But I don't give a crap what others do.

They make CAT themed coloring books for adults. But you won't need to take a day off from work to color, just do it in your spare time instead of another hobby.

Well I work full time and have a husband and child and am thinking of trying this. Just for a little fun, relaxing thing to do. And if it helps me sleep that would be awesome!

I'm another one who doesn't understand the big coloring craze right now. I have no desire to color.

I'm neither a SAHM or into coloring, but I can see how it would be meditative. If it helps with focus and relaxation, maybe we all should be doing something similar.

I'm another one who doesn't understand the big coloring craze right now. I have no desire to color. Well I have no desire to paint or sew clothing. But I can see why others might. Everyone likes different things. It's not hard to understand.

I work a full time job, take care of my MIL with dementia, have a husband, son and a home and still mange to color occasionally just like I would do any other hobby. However, I am not dexterous enough to f**k and color at the same time. I will have to work on those skills I guess.

I used to do daycare. I colored, built with blocks, played dress up, painted and glued things and played with dolls and toys daily and got paid for it.

I get to color everyday. Mostly this means I keep DD from eating the crayons and coloring my dining room table, though. I don't think it's the same relaxing practice mentioned here.

I'm a SAHM and just got home from the eye doctor. My eyes are dilated and I can't see jack shite so even if I wanted to color I couldn't.

I currently work from home and no coloring here either. I'm too busy fixing the freaking mess one rogue radio station presenter is causing with her power trip... For freaking crying out loud. I wish I could color, that and a huge glass of wine right now would be fantastic (and screw the time) end vent.

Yes we are coloring while we sit in our pajamas and curlers, sipping coffee and watching soaps all day.
In reality, I still have coloring books I had as a child with pages colored by my grandmother. Glad she took the time to color with me. Some of my favorite childhood memories.

Glad she took the time to color with me. Some of my favorite childhood memories. I call BS on this... there are, unfortunately, not soaps on all day anymore! Ah, I miss the good ole days! As for coloring... I love to do it occasionally. I just hate it when my 3 year old niece wants her coloring book and crayons back!

Ah, I miss the good ole days! Darn it, I thought I was convincing. Hey, I have touched a crayon in the last week, when I picked them up off the floor in the kids room. Does that count?

I love to color! I always have. My therapist even said it can be good for you.
I work, don't even have kids, like to color and don't give a shit what anybody thinks about it.

I was a SAHM for many years and am now just a stay at home woman. The way you rant and rave about SAHMs makes it look like you're extremely jealous. Some of us are just lucky enough not to have to work. I'm sorry it's not an option for you.
