I hope Juliet returns to her usual self. But, I will be mad at Avery if he leaves her. He needs to help her through her PPD. But, keep that baby safe!

I feel SO bad for Avery. Juliette is out of control! Did anyone see on TV in the background when the doc wanted to talk to Rayna that there was breaking news of Teddy's arrest? I agree, I sur hope the bad news isn't about Deacon! I tried to have DH re watch the end to see if they were showing Deacon at all during the flatline ... I can't remember and he deleted it!!! Aaaaaack!! WHEN IS THE FALL PREMIERE.  Gahhhhhhhh! |

I'm glad Will finally came out, and Luke was supportive of his decision either way. I hate that Juliette and Avery are being pushed apart (again.) I'm guessing Avery will lean on his parents to help with the baby next season until Juliette hits her low and gets some help. I went back and watched the end of the episode because I thought I heard one of the doctors say "she", but they said, "the patient." I think either Beverly died, or they stopped the surgery to save her. I did notice the breaking news in the background and none of them saw it. I'm really surprised that Teddy decided to take responsibility for his actions. No surprise with Gunnar and Scarlet.  I wonder how long they'll deny their feelings for each other next season? |

I love this show............but it was very predictable last night with Rayna/Deacon story line. I knew it would be the cliffhanger as they have been for several seasons. I don't think Deacon will die although I do think we will be strung along even next season.
Gunnar drives me nuts with Scarlett a close second. I loved their song last night, it was beautiful.

Or Scarlet will be so guilt-ridden that her mother was dying while she was singing and canoodling with Gunner that she will blame Gunner. I wish they would both ride off into the sunset together. I do think it was Beverly that died. I'm surprised Teddy decided to act like a real man and quit throwing people under the bus to save his sorry ass. My heart breaks for Avery and his baby girl. I am so proud of Will for coming out and being true to himself. |

Awww, Will's storyline just gets better and better. Now if they could focus on Gunnar and his wishy washy whiny character!
As for Deacon, maybe he's in a coma. That's pretty standard soap opera procedure when you want to drag out the pain and suffering of a character, right? There's a lot of ways they could play it out. But I don't think it ends with him dying.
And whoever mentioned Scarlett's hair being a mess, thanks. Couldn't stop staring at her messy mane this episode! Lol! They need to take that weave out and refresh her look. But that song she sang was beautiful. I've always been partial to her voice on this show.
I'm really sad for Avery. I'm not sure how they can reconcile their relationship at this point. She went back to Jeff, not to mention the water globe she pitched at him while holding the baby and then going on tour, too. She's always been a train wreck so I don't think this is too much of a stretch for her character. It's just not enjoyable to watch now with a baby in the mix.
And Teddy? Eh, he's another character that I've never been interested in. I tend to tune him and Gunnar's scenes out.

Last night was a sad night. I don't like what they did with Juliette. I don't like they way they ended it with Deacon. I don't like Jeff. Even though I really like Oliver Hudson. I do like the fact that will opened up and admitted to him being gay and in love with Can;t remember his name. The song writer.
I think that Gunnar and Scarlett will end up together again.

My friend and I were discussing it and pretty much thought the same thing. I like Gunner and Scarlett together but I like her with the doctor too. I don't like Gunner with his ex at all. I was so happy that Will finally came out and no more hiding. I don't like that Juliette ran to Luke and Jeff's company and I want her and Avery to be happy together. |

I don't think Avery is the type who is going to dump Juliette because she has PPD. I think he was keep the baby away from her for safety reasons until she gets treatment, but I don't see him leaving here because a medical condition is causing completely irrational behavior.

I get why everyone is feeling badly for Avery. I do. That said, I feel badly for Juliette, too. She isn't behaving in this manner by choice. She's ill.

Ok...I know I should be, but I'm annoyed with the Deacon/Beverly cliff-hanger! Ugh! I don't want to wait that long to find out what happens!
I want Gunner and Scarlet together. I'm tired of them being irritable with each other one minute and gazing longingly into each others' eyes the next!
I think Beverly will be the one who dies.
Teddy---surprised by his actions, but I'd not be sad to see this character go. I don't usually pay too much attention to his scenes.
WILL! I'm so happy he finally admitted to being gay! Hoping for some great story lines with him and his boyfriend next season!
Juliette--I'm so sad for her, but I want to shake her. What a horrible illness to have. I can't even imagine. I don't think Avery will leave her. He'll take care of the baby first, leave her in good hands, and go back to help Juliette.
Ok...I'm ready for the new season...why does it have to be so far away???

She's in breach of contract and will probably get a cease and desist from Highway 65 as soon as she hits the stage, if not before. But Juliette will probably fire back that they were in breach of contract first because she was supposed to have complete creative control. We're probably in for some legal battles next year. It's not *that* unusual for artists to jump ship and sort out the legal ramifications later. |
