We call them slushies, at least my kids do. I have heard them
called icees, but never slurpees. I've never been in a 7-11.

If it's not 7-11 it's a slushie. But read and say slurpee too many times and it becomes very annoying.

That would be a Slush Puppie. Slush Puppies are something else entirely. They have the little ice beads in them, like the Mr. Misty at Dairy Queen. |

We call them slurpees too but have you ever had a screamer which is a slurpee topped off with some soft serve ice cream lol!!

Slurpee. There was a 7-11 within walking distance of the house I grew up in and they were called Slurpees. So that became the name in my mind for all drinks of that nature even if I get them somewhere other than 7-11.

I call them all slushies, but never buy any, so I have no knowledge of which are better or have what flavors or are slushier or anything like that. Yep- this! It is ice and flavoring and a whole lot of sugar right? What else makes them different? My teen boys get "slushies" from the various ice cream places. I don't think they know a brand name |

Slurpee here too. My son and I always get them on free slurpee day, but he is in Tech School for the Airforce, so I think my Slurpee days are over  i got all teary today when I realized what today was. |

We call them slurpees too but have you ever had a screamer which is a slurpee topped off with some soft serve ice cream lol!! Our corner store just started carrying screamers!!! When DH saw that he said "my summer just got a whole lot fatter"  And I call them slurpees wherever I am. Unless the machine is actually branded Icee. Then it's an Icee. Go figure. |

7-11 in my home town had icees. Not sure here because it is so rare that I go in a 7-11 and I haven't paid attention when I was in the store.

A Slurpee is a 7-11 brand. An Icee you find in most other places. I refer to that type of drink collectively as "slushies". Blue Raspberry Icees are heaven on Earth. I'm not big on Slurpees.
