Dare I ask? HOW do you shoot the moon? My photos never look good and quick searching hasn't done much to help. It's a gorgeous shot, so I figured I'd ask someone who has it figured out. :-) Here are my specifics.
Canon Rebel T3i (so a nice camera for sure, but far from "top of the line") Canon EFS 55-250 IS lens Manual setting 1/125 shutter speed ISO is either 200 or 400.
I zoomed as far as I could, and cropped the final product.
I've taken lots of pictures of the moon over the past few years. DH got me a fancy tripod and I even experimented with that...slowing down the shutter speed etc. The final result was no different so I don't use a tripod now. (although if we would've had nicer weather for the Blood Moon a few months ago I would've used the tripod for that because I would've done more with the settings to experiment) A 200 or 400 ISO doesn't seem like much because it's dark outside...but if you use anything higher, you lose the detail of the moon and it's just a bright ball.

Great shots here Jenny. Love the sunflower with the Bee, it would make a lovely canvas on a wall somewhere. I like it the way it is.Sometimes if you clean things up they start to look false. Love the empty chair and flag too, nice texture from the old wood. Have you used an action on the tractor? If not, I'm very jealous of your natural light "an action"? as in editing? Nope...that was all natural light. I think the contrast between the bright tractor and the background flowers and tree is what makes it.

And as a bonus...I purchased some sunflowers to bring home, enjoy for a few days, and then dry out in hopes that I can plant some and have my own flowers in my yard.

Beautiful! The moon and the chair and flag especially, though they are all wonderful. You've inspired me to dig out my camera and start taking pics again. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful pictures!
The moon crested this morning, so you could still get "full moon" pictures tonight.
I use the "lunar 11" rule for photographing the moon. Set the aperture of your camera to f/11, shutter speed to 1/100th of a second and ISO to 100. This is a good starting spot and you can adjust, depending on your camera. I am a Nikon girl, and mine does not have a IS0 100 setting, I think it is refered to as Low1. Try to position yourself in a dark area. If you have yard/street lights, try to stand in a spot that is in the shadows.
I am able to get fantastic shots with a 300mm lens, handheld. It would probably be better if I used my tripod and shutter release remote - but I generally do this on the spur of the moment.
That is the impact crater Tycho - it really is distinct isn't it!
Thanks for sharing your pictures - they are really nice.

LOVE your photos! And as someone else mentioned - don't downplay your skills. You have a wonderful eye and the results are stunning!
And I didn't notice the "dot" and lines before someone mentioned it. It DOES look like an orange!

You did a great job! I really like the rocking chair one....I have a things for empty seat photography. Empty seat photography, you say?
DD#1 came with me...I tried to get her in some of the photos. She was not interested. She did however bring her camera and she too took pictures. (so while I didn't get pictures of her, I got pictures WITH her)
Great picture! My mom and I go shoot together and it's fun. I especially like it when we take pictures of the same thing...it's neat to see how we both see the same thing yet differently.

I love your photos, you have a good eye for composition. I love the tractor one and the moon. I stayed up last night for the moon (12th) but, typically, after many nights of clear skies, last night was cloudy and I couldn't see it.
