So I asked when I picked up my prescription. They handed me a little kit with a spray and cloth and said to use that. I asked about the foil wrapped packets and they said not to use those (sears told me the same thing). I think I'll just wash them with soap every night, let them air dry overnight, and use the spray and cloths during the day. I'll be sure to wash out the cloths every so often.

My current glasses have been a PIA since the first day I got them. They have the special non-glare coating and I was told not to ever clean them dry, to always use the spray. I used the spray faithfully and they always seem to have a hazy, greasy glaze on them. Now they are covered in scratches so I just breath on them and use a cleaning cloth. Being so careful with them didn't do me a bit of good. I'm going to try the Dawn suggestion and see if that helps get rid of the haze. Can't believe I didn't think of it, Dawn is my go-to cleaner.

If I'm not near a sink and some Dawn I just lick both sides of both lenses and then polish them on the underside of my shirt.

Soap and water and a silky lens cloth. I have never liked the glass cleaner wipes. My glasses are almost three years old and in good shape.
