Who cares if they are usually for showers and weddings? It sounds like fun - go for it! This!

If you're wanting cheap ways to display the candy check out the Dollar Tree. They have tons of clear glass bowls..tall vases like you would stick flowers in. If you want to give some of the bowels height get the dollar store clear glass candle sticks. You can use E6000 to glue them on the bowls for height. Scoops are good to. Oh and clear bags for take home. sorry but thanks for my first real laugh of the day.

I don't think so. After prom my son and his group of friends/dates went to another friends house where they had a candy bar. After that they came to our house and had a bon fire/camp out.

I did one at DS's 7th birthday party. It was science themed, so the candy was in flasks, and they poured it into test tubes.

How the hell can you go wrong with candy? And you're talking large amounts of candy! Nobody grows out of candy, and candy is manly. Go for it!

Where the hell wouldn't a CANDY BAR be welcome? Seriously, I can't think of one occasion I wouldn't scarf down a bunch of candy.

Nope! My hubby's work did one at their Christmas party and it was a total hit! We're talkin' "manly men" type guys and the wives.
