Thanks to the Peas who understood this aggravation. coilstrand: I WISH I could just simply hide the company posts, but she doesn't tag it in any way, so there's no way of hiding it. I just close that particular post out. At lease ADMIT that you're a CONSULTANT for a MLM corporation!! These Visalus people do not!! They just say, "I'm simply spreading the news and starting new challenges." They won't admit that they're getting an income from this. BTW, I'd LOVE to use your wording, "I don't care what a person is selling, what they own, or who they work for. If you're a vaguebooker, drama queen, MLM consultant, or a small business owner who constantly posts about your business, I simply stop following you or hide the shares from the company page." It's SO well-said!!
aweatpeasmom: I would and do support many friends that have their own small businesses. I'll even repost things for them occasionally. But if they posted about their business 10+ times a day? Nope! I'd be trying to get that crap off of my page so I didn't have to read about it every time i went online!

I just ignore them, or hide their posts if it is excessive. I have the same problem... with only a handful of people, but still it is annoying. If I want one of those products, I will contact them and let them know. I don't want it allover my newsfeed!

I guess you could choose the option of I don't want to see this post. So, if friends or other consultants bring it to the top of the news feed, it isn't there.

coilstrand: I'll have to double check that, but it's harder to hit the "I don't want to see this post" option lately. I think it asks if you want to see LESS of that person's posts (which I don't). I just wish that these SALESPEOPLE would be upfront about it and tag so that those of us that don't wish to be inundated with it, could choose to omit it without deleting 20 posts/daily.

Honestly, I unfriended the person who was doing this. We hadn't had real contact in years. She started selling eye lash crap and that's all she talked about. I wished for awhile she would create a page, that makes sense. She never did, so gone. I got a half-nasty facebook message from her when she realized I unfriended her. I ignored it and moved on. Not worth it. 3D Mascara? Honestly not sure! Is that the big fad right now?

Honestly not sure! Is that the big fad right now? Not sure if it is the fad or not, but a parent of one of DS's friends sells it constantly on fb. I can't hide or unfriend her because it is obvious when the moms are sitting around if you don't know what is on their page. She also sells some weight loss shake things. I thought about trying them, but I make my shakes with almond milk and fruit for way cheaper and they taste good.
