Way too expensive for me! I do have to admit however that I got a cheapo planner from Walmart and use stickers and washi tape and all kinds of things like that to make it look a lot more fun.

I love them, but they're just too bulky for me to carry around. So I'm good for about 6 weeks- then end up leaving it at home... Which leads to not using it at all.

Yes got one a few weeks ago for this year so only paid $35. I love it! I don't have a lot of stuff to write down but looking at other people's planners, I think some just like to decorate and have fun with it.

I don't even carry them around 6 weeks! If I could get a smaller option, I'd be all over it but until then I will use my Filofax.

Me! Off to find the video! It's on instagram!!! Had to get dd to get me onto dd's account to see it. Looks great. Are you going with the vertical or horizontal layout? Did you order a custom cover? I have a standard cover now but getting a personalized cover. I think I'll stick with the vertical layout. It was a little odd at first, especially how it's separated into three sections everyday but now I'm used to it. Thanks for the sneak peek.

No. Tried one a few years ago before she became huge. Stuff is way overpriced, but I ordered with some groupon type deal that amounted to half off. Cute design, but bulky and the layout didn't work for me at all. Also, the coil was crappy, and the customer service was even crappier. I wanted to love the life planner, but I didn't. If her stuff wasn't so overpriced, I might try other products, but nah. I can find other cute stuff for a much better price.

@ammaliatrice I ordered the Teacher Planner for the first time 2 years ago. I don't use it for lesson plans, but for lots of documentation. I know they are pricey but I needed a good system for many reasons. I don't have a Life Planner as I use the calendar in the teacher planner. I just bought their deluxe notebook which is not as bulky as the teacher planner. I have had nothing but great customer service as have many others in a couple groups I'm in on Facebook.....PM me @ammaliatrice if you want the names...lots of great people there. greenlegume (love your screen name by the way) The coil on my teacher planner is no way crappy. It's thick and heavy. Not sure if the Life Planner's is the same. I also have had coupons that I've used but you are right...it's pricey.

I heard that the coils were improved a year or two after I tried mine, I think. If I had like the layout, or if it had been easier to tote around, I might have gone back and tried again. But, alas.

I did, but I swithced to Plum Paper Planner. The quality of the paper is so much better. I wrote EC off when after a round of complaints, they started including a sticker with every order that said "If you don't have anything nice to say, be quiet.". I can handle mistakes, I can not tolerate disrespect and snark towards their customer base. IMO, as many mistakes as EC (the company) makes, I can't even imagine how they will get even half of these new products out correctly.
And for the record, I belong to several "EC Facebook groups". I still decorate my planner and I enjoy the inspiration and sharing with like minded people. I just don't support that particular brand of products.

I like my EC planner a to. I also like my LV planner because it is more portable. When I can write again I plan to go back to using both of them.

Yes, I even belong to planner groups on fb. me too! What fb groups are out there? I'm thinking of EC. This year I made my own because the ones out there weren't "perfect" for me. But <gasp> <surprise> neither was the one I made! I am such a planner junkie. My family tries to get me to use electronic planners, but I'm just an old-fashioned paper gal.

I bought my first one last year... it's OK, the coil is really nice and I do use it everyday(I run my own business), however I plan on moving to Plum Paper next year, I hear the quality is better and they are less expensive and more easily customized. I also am not a fan of the designs in the EC.. I want something a bit more sophisticated.

I've used EC for several years and been completely happy. I did order one for DD a couple years ago that came with the wrong name, but they quickly took care of the problem. I have never had quality issues, don't think the paper is poor quality and have never received a nasty sticker though if I did, that would be the end of ordering for me. I expect good customer service and would immediately stop buying from them should I not receive it.
I do belong to a couple facebook groups but don't really embellish my planner. I like the colorways EC uses already and use it more functionally than creatively.

I have bought 3 EC Life Planners and other misc. stuff. I really like the life planner and notebook I have. They are bulky, but I find the quality very good. Now that I've seen the Plum Planners, I may have to try that!

Ok so since the new release of the 2016 Life Planners is around the corner I headed over to EC.com to take a peek at her sneak peaks. It looks like they eliminated the dates on the monthly calendar pages. There is just a round circle and they are selling number stickers. Or I suppose you can just fill in the circle with your own writing, etc. WTH? I don't wanna have to go and fill in all those months on my own. I'm all for personalization, but I'm not looking for an arts and crafts project. Obviously there are changes every year and I noticed quite a few others, but this black monthly calendar date thing might be a deal breaker for me this year.

I used EC planners for 2 years but found them too bulky to carry around. I switched to a Midori and then switched to a nicer leather made by Chic Sparrow. I have the "Gemini" for work and the "Creme Brulee" for personal stuff. I love that you design your own set up and like the leather cover way better. 2 of my daughters still use EC planners at college and they love them.
