Not into the planner thing. My planner is literally one sheet of paper I print out every couple weeks with boxes and lines to make various lists of to-dos, projects, appts and meals. I fold it and carry it in my work bag. It works and its cheap & easy to carry.

Ok so since the new release of the 2016 Life Planners is around the corner I headed over to EC.com to take a peek at her sneak peaks. It looks like they eliminated the dates on the monthly calendar pages. There is just a round circle and they are selling number stickers. Or I suppose you can just fill in the circle with your own writing, etc. WTH? I don't wanna have to go and fill in all those months on my own. I'm all for personalization, but I'm not looking for an arts and crafts project. Obviously there are changes every year and I noticed quite a few others, but this black monthly calendar date thing might be a deal breaker for me this year. That will be deal breaker for me too. I like being able to customize, but number stickers is ridiculous. Print the number.

I think EC is losing lots of business to Plum and other companies that have more flexible planner options.

No I saw the months printed just not the day numbers. They are all printed on the weekly pages though. So it appears as though I will either have to write in my own numbers or buy the EC stickers. Definitely going to have to think about that before I buy a new planner.

I use my iPhone calendar and notes for everything I need to do or remember...the less I have to carry around the better. I do looking at how people use theirs, and decorate them, but they are just not for me.

Have you seen the new MABMI Happy Planner? They start in July and go through next year. I like that they are discbound so you can remove pages - like Levenger or Arc. They are a bit bigger than EC I believe.

Thanks to the peas I'm a plum paper girl all the way. I love and use it daily and feel it's a less expensive option than the EC planners.

I must not be as busy as most of the peas. I don't feel I have a need for a planner, so no, I have never purchased one.

It's less that I'm just crazy busy and more that with several activities going on at one time I can forget things. I use a planner to write my work schedule, daily menu, workout plan, and household to-dos so that I don't forget those things. I'm just better off if I plan those things out ahead of time so that I don't get to the end of the week and go man, didn't I mean to...? I don't know that the EC planner really speaks to me but a Plum is on my list for when my current planner runs out in December.

I need one because with 3 kids there is always something going on and if I don't have it all written down I'd never know where we have to be lol. I also use my planners to help me with my scrapbooking. I can look back and know exactly when things happened to coordinate with the photos.

My children are grown so as empty nesters our plans are few. We do a lot of winging it around here.

I had no idea what this post was about and still don't understand the Kool-Aid reference. I must be really out of the loop. LOL - no surprise there!
I ran off to google and checked out youtube. For myself I don't understand the hype or need to carry a huge book around with my life in it. My phone does that pretty well. However, I'm going to show my DD the teacher planner because she starts her teaching practicum in the fall. Maybe she would find it useful and fun to document that process.
Thanks RefuPeas for enabling me yet again.

Currently use an EC LP and really like it but if I have to write in dates in a 2016 LP I may have to look at other alternatives. Trying to pull up the video to see new planner but it's not loading on my iPad.
Has anyone seen or gotten Elise Cripe's new Get To Work Book? I watched the video but it doesn't appeal to me. The coil doesn't look as sturdy as an EC LP and the graphics are pretty dull on the inside. I don't decorate my current EC LP at all. Just use it for daily to-do's and anything else I need to jot down but I do like her colorful graphics.

I don't see a picture anywhere on her webpage or Instagram that shows month pages so I can't say for sure but I would be surprised if she changed the planners in this way. The Teachers Planner and the Notebooks contain undated monthly pages and you can use the stickers or write them in yourself. I have an ECLP and an ECTP. I will be buying a new ECLP when they go on sale in June. I am a planner addict and I like it the best of the the three different styles that I have on my shelves.

I have eyed the Erin Condren planners a lot but due to the price, I can't justify buying one, especially if I am unsure that I will actually use it. I have bought planners before with the best of intentions and they sat around all year, blank and unused! I have a big calendar in my kitchen and I record all my information on there. I'd be lost without it, especially this time of year when things are so darned busy. It would be nice to have a planner to carry around with me though. I may check out the Plum Paper version!

ETA I get the PTI newsletter and they've gotten into the planner thing. Some of the dies can be used for other projects, which is the only reason I pay a bit of attention to the emails that are about the PTI planners.

Thanks y'all. I just plunked down way more money than I thought possible on a planner. Lol! I bought from plum paper and maxed out my add ons.
I'm going to have to watch some YouTube videos while I wait for it.

I'm a planner girl (always has been), and I use my planners for much more than just planning. But after "sticker-gate" I swore that I will NEVER spend any money on anything Erin Condren related! Which isn't much of a loss, as I much prefer Gillio, van der Spek and my myriad of fauxdoris.

I've ordered from her for over 3 years and I never ever got a sticker like that. I've had nothing but great CS from them...
