I'm a planner girl (always has been), and I use my planners for much more than just planning. But after "sticker-gate" I swore that I will NEVER spend any money on anything Erin Condren related! Which isn't much of a loss, as I much prefer Gillio, van der Spek and my myriad of fauxdoris. I'm clueless..what is/was sticker gate?? They were having quality issues.... and their customers complained (understandably). After that, the company started adding a sticker with every order, which said "If you can't say something nice, be quiet". Extremely unprofessional!

See missAng's reply on page 1 Gotcha! Yes, did read that originally. Not the best PR move but I do love my EC LP.

I never got into the whole planner craze, either. I use my iPhone calendar and notes for everything I need to do or remember...the less I have to carry around the better. I do looking at how people use theirs, and decorate them, but they are just not for me. Switch "iPhone" to "Android" and I'm with you. ETA I get the PTI newsletter and they've gotten into the planner thing. Some of the dies can be used for other projects, which is the only reason I pay a bit of attention to the emails that are about the PTI planners. I just quickly googled PTI and some of there stuff is very cute...am I correct in thinking they work with most die cutting machines?

I guess I'm the only person that has NO clue what these are. Off to Google. Nope, you're not the only one. I have no idea what they all are talking about, either.

They take the same sandwich as Spellbinders, Taylored Expressions, Elizabeth Craft Designs, Sizzix Thinlits and Framelits (not their thick Originals), and other thin metal dies.

Does anyone know if the PTI planner does work to make inserts for the plum paper planners?
Alternately, could someone measure the coil spacing on a plum paper planner?

I am a diehard Erin Condren fan, for years now. HOWEVER, if I have to make my own dates for the month, I might as well go back to making my own. What the?! Bizarre
I am shocked that she would change that? Why would you print the numbers for daily, but not monthly? Wouldn't you need the date for the month if the daily date is printed?! Sounds silly to me. I looked at the Plum Paper one, that looks closest to Erin's.
I think I shall write her and share that when she changes that fun little change back to printed, to let me know, and she will have a devoted customer back!
I buy other items on her website, as I just love her items. But just changing the planner for 2016.

Erin Condren has a 3 min YouTube video up on her channel showing the 2 new LP formats - horizontal & vertical. You will be able to see the 2-page monthly calendar which DOES have the dates listed. We will not have to write in the dates each month...WHEW!!

So that's good then, as I have been looking at other planners. Some were rather large, 500 pages! Holy cow, that's like a ream of paper, I don't get that one. I was going to ask if anyone with a Plum Paper (or whatever it was called) Planner, is happy with it? It seemed close to Erin Condren. Specifically I was wondering about the Plum one as to the paper quality of it? Anyone have one and can respond? My thoughts is that Erin has thicker and quality products as to why the price goes up, makes sense. Just wondering if I could or would be happy with a thinner paper. I am thinking I could, however, 3 months down the road, would I still think that?! lol Thanks for checking back for me!

MrsGarzza, I have a plum paper planner and love it. it's similar to the EC planners in style and layout. I can't speak for the paper on the ECs as I haven't physically felt them but the paper is a good quality stock on the PP. What pushed me to the PP is the cost and the personalization. I have a row each week for everyone in our family and one to record/plan meals. works for us.

I think the date stickers are for the Teachers Planner and Notebooks which do have undated monthly pages.

The vertical example shown in the EC video does not show the "morning, day, and night" labels on the sections. It just has the colored lines separating each section. Yay!

I have a row each week for everyone in our family and one to record/plan meals. works for us. See, I was very much liking that personalization for each row too! That was super hard to not like last night when I was building it! I still can't get over the 500 page one. Can you imagine?! Goodness that's a novel, literally! And that's without anything added to it, like notes, reminders, etc! Eek! ETA: Wow, it's more than 500, more like 576 pages! Here's a link: Paper Tray Ink Planner
www.papertreyink.com/moments-inked/moments-inked-2015-memory-planner/ I may try the PP one this year (and not get the extra 6 months), or I might drive myself crazy wondering if I would have like it better! lol Also, I noticed others saying that they had their phone, etc. and didn't need a paper. I am very much an iPhone girl and love technology. However, with each update for the iPhone I would notice little things disappearing. At this point was when everyone here was raving about Erin Condren. So once I saw that happening, I jumped ship. Man I do NOT regret it either. It feeds my craftsy, artsy fartsy need while having the 'old school' paper written right in front of you. So for those that sorta, kinda wants to get a planner, but is holding out cause you have an iPhone, JUMP! You won't regret it. I still use the calendar on my phone, I have the Facebook events/birthdays synced up to my phone and write for my life, daycare, college and family <<<that's what drew me to the personalization to the Plum Paper one! Now I use the three sections separated anyways. So, yeah, I think I'll get a Plum Paper one and try it out. At worst I can get the EC one next May/June when they go down to $35 to prep for the new one?!

Had a mini-heart attack seeing that lol ....being a lover of paper and planners long before it was 'cool', I am so over undated and writing hours worth of dates, notice I was off a day and starting over. Yeah - no doing that again!

I split areas of my life in each section, so I was wondering if I would like that switch up. Glad that you will like it tho!

Anyone with the PP planner able to measure the distance between the coil holes?
(I'm really hoping it is the same 1/4 inch that the PTI planner uses so I can borrow a friends dies to add inserts.)
