Holy cow did I make up a new word...ipadding? My dominant wrist has been quite sore lately. I rarely use my computer. I think it's from ipadding. Does anyone have a good remedy, besides no more ipadding? does it happen to you?

My wrist doesn't get sore but I start to have some nerve pain - almost like my lower arm and wrist area has fallen asleep. I'm sure it has to do w/ me sitting on the couch or my bed with the iPad propped up on my legs and my wrist is bent for an extended period of time. I've just learned that I need to take breaks and not sit there surfing the net for 2+ hours. hahahaha!!!

I have the same kind of arm and wrist pain. I surf in a mni while laying diwn so i hold my Ipad up. My arm falls asleep too. This is me too. My work is also hard on my wrists and hand grip. It's something I consciously have to pay attention to. I really don't want to be an old lady with arm/hand/wrist issues.

Confesssion: When I first got my iPhone (several years ago) I had that problem with my wrist and forearm. I mean, it was REALLY sore. So much so that I had to take some ibuprofen to find relief! I was kind of embarrassed about that actually and decided I needed to set the phone down a little more often.

I notice pain in my wrist when I spend too much time using anything touch screen. That constant swiping motion gets me.

I have "tennis" elbow from too much laptopping with my laptop on my lap. I had to take anti-inflamatories for two weeks and wear a brace. I am still in the brace and just had a steroid shot in my elbow.
I recommend doing whatever you can to stop the progressive strain on your wrists. It can get worse and the cures are a pain.

I just prop my mini on a pillow when my hand starts to tingle.

LOL. i worry about having arm/hand/wrist issues too when I'm even older. I am on the computer all day at work and on my iPad or smart phone most of the other time I am not on a desk top. I can feel the arthritis creeping up in certain fingers from typing or tapping.

I'm suffering from the iPad elbow as we speak or at least that's what I think the pain is from.

I had a really scary episode of tremors earlier this year. Went through a ton of test to find its carpal tunnel. I did some physical therapy and now wear a splint when I am typing a lot. be careful...

I have the same issue from holding it up while laying down. I usually take some aleve a and then try to prop my iPad up.
