Hoping someone has a great tip for a re-writeable planner insert I can either buy super inexpensively (thinking dollar store) or DIY. I want approx 5x8 type size that I can use for weekly/daily to-do lists that I can wipe off/re-write on.
Also, what kind of pen?
I use a Zig writer for my glass menu board in my kitchen. So far I've tried using a plastic divider that was supposed to be re-writable with ballpoint pen or pencil, but it's not working. All of my pens either ball up (Zig, Sakura, American Crafts), or don't write on it at all (any kind of ball point pen), or make a huge mess (pencil).
Thanks!

Mine isn't re-writable. I designed a single daily to-do type sheet. It is a mash-up of a bunch of different sheets that works for me. I print 7 of them on Monday and stick them in my notebook for my daily planning. I mostly use my google calendar, but I need something for daily type stuff that I can check off. However, if you design one you like, you could always laminate it.
It has the following sections: daily chores - home daily chores - work appointments Other Home to-dos Other Work to-dos Dinner Plan 21 day fix eating log/workout A spot for "good things of today"

Thanks! You are very organized!! I've been using paper lists, etc, but getting tired of either re-writing it every few days or dealing with lots of cross-outs, etc, as I get stuff done. Laminating might work -- will have to look into where I can get it done.

ashley. About laminating...you can write on a laminated sheet with a sharpie. Then, when you are done, use either nail polish remover or just write over the sharpie text with a dry erase marker and it will wipe right off.

They come off with water. It is what teachers used to use on transparencies.

Just print out a planner sheet and put it in a page protector or behind a transparency sheet. The rewrite each week with transparency pens.

I forget her name though. Very detailed and organized. I can see myself using this on my busy days of the week. Good idea!

You can put the paper list in a page protector or cover in clear contact paper, and use dry erase or wet erase markers.
