I'm an ATG girl too but I use Anita's 3d gloss finish for heavy stuff, it's brilliant.

My favourite is Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. It is a tape runner that comes in 4 different versions. As a plus if you used to like CM tape runners I've read it's the same product. It's supposed to be acid free and archival if that matters to you. The 4 versions are: 1. Red Tape Runner-White Permanent-tiny slivers of adhesive-great for small spots 2. Pink Tape Runner-White Permanent Larger Squares of adhesive 3. Green Tape Runner-E-Z Dots-Repositional dots of adhesive and 4. Purple E-Z Runner-Vellum (works pretty well depending on what the background is)... I'm also concerned about my layouts lasting and I love the fact that these are acid free. Every layout I've made with them has stayed together. Ditto. I have used the suite of products from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L for years without complaint!

I'm still loyal to adhesive squares...yes, even with peeling the little paper backings off That's my adhesive of choice too. For cards I use double-stick tape because I don't care if they don't last forever and it's cheaper to buy in bulk.

I use a ATG gun...I have to say that I made a mini album using it and the thing was falling apart. So I don't use it on my minis but I do use it on my pages.

I use Tombo glue and love it. For projects that need a stronger glue, I use tacky tape.

I use the ATG and zig pens. I use to use duck adhesive but after getting three defective ones in a row from different stores I gave up on them.

Herma tabs for most stuff, Tombow Mono Multi (green cap) for paper piecings or other smaller things. I have an ATG but that thing is just too big to drag around with me and the refills smell like chemicals until they've aired out quite a bit. Most of the time I forget I have it because I keep it up on a shelf so it's out of the way. I also like Glue Dots for some things and the JudiKins Trio for ribbon.

Probably more accurate to say what kind of adhesive don't I use as I have a cough *few* in my stash - scor-tape for things that need a strong hold, tombow taperunner and liquid, glue dots, zig pens, fabric glue... Anyway you get the picture. But my go-to adhesive is probably my quick dry glue.

Looks like I'm the only Glue Glider Pro gal. Tried it a few years ago and love it. It adheres better than the Tombow tape runner I used to love, is easier to deal with than my beloved photo splits (I still have a few boxes of those!) and is less cumbersome than the ATG. I get my refills shipped to Walmart cheapy-cheap.
I do also have the typical assortment of glue dots, pop dots, liquid adhesive, etc.

I'm a Tombow fan … I use both the Mono (for paper and photos mostly), and the liquid (for everything else)! I also do use glue dots and red adhesive tape occasionally.

I hoarded CM tape runners when they went out of business. At some point I'll probably get at ATG. I also use glue dots for some things, and PVA when I want liquid glue. Good news for you! I don't use CM adhesive but was at a crop last week and my friend, who used to be a CM cons and is now with Heritage Makers told me that they are coming out with a new line Our Memories For Life spearheaded by former CM Rhonda Anderson to bring back CM favorites with slight changes to avoid copyright infringement. It includes albums, pages, adhesive, card stock, with more to come.

I love my ATG so much I have two - one for crops, and one for home. I also use Glossy Accents and glue dots.

I love my ATG gun and the refills I get from Tape Depot on eBay.
I also use Tombow and was loving Zig adhesive pens, but then last one I got was really crappy. I'm hoping it was just a fluke.

I also adore my ATG! I just completed a re-sort of all my albums/layouts and so much stuff was falling off! Especially herma tabs, and cheap tape runners...totally dried up and falling apart. My permanent dot adhesive (that japanese stuff that went out of business...can't remember the name!) is still good. And ATG from 3+ years ago is in perfect shape!

I hoarded a lot of CM adhesives and once those run out I'll switch over to Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

I use those little squares, even though I do own a ATG. I only buy the squares where you don't have to peel off the tabs (I think they are by 3L). I use glue dots and foam squares as well.

ATG as well! I love it! I have one at home and one at school for use in my classroom! It comes in very handy. For a liquid glue I use Scotch Quick Dry. I also use glue dots for small items.

In praise of photos splits (squares) I like them for ribbon (I cut them in 1/2) because they are less messy than fabric glue and sometimes my ribbon is narrower than my tape runner.
I also like them for chipboard.

I haven't seen any of the items in person yet, but the tape runners look the same. It looks like a cute line for a beginning scrapbooker or someone who like it quick and easy. (We know that doesn't apply to anyone here! )

I have a bunch of older adhesives to use up, some of which are the little squares. Someone once told me that they lose their stickiness after a few years, so they probably aren't good anymore. Is that true?

I use the ATG gun. It seems to have found a new home -my dd's room- more often now that I have her 'smashing' all her ticket stubs, love notes from bf, and every other odds & ends that she kept in her memory box over the years. I decided to buy her one of her own for christmas -I may have to give it to her early!!

Finally getting back. Wow. It seems like so many people use the ATG guns. I'm kind of intrigued by it but just think the size would overwhelm me (plus where would I store it?!) But I might have to give it a try for things that need to stick permanently.
So many others to consider. I'm glad to read your thoughts on why you like different kinds.
I had tried the tombow when everyone was buying so much of it a few years back and talking about it on 2peas, but some of those pages are now falling apart, so I'll need to stick them back together with something different.
I started scrapping so long ago that the photo splits were all there was around here for archival quality adhesive (from the photography store no less!). I was stretching a dollar quite a bit back in the day and would tear those squares at least in half, sometimes into quarters to make them last longer. That adhesive has held well for many years. I just don't like peeling the papers - or the mess of blue tabs all over the place when I'm done. After running out of tape runners in the middle of the night while on vacation where I had intended to get a lot of cropping done, I do keep several boxes in my tote all the time.
I think I'll probably have to try a couple of different kinds.
TFS!

I made her clean her room because it was such a disaster, and she threw out all the programs from her concerts, tickets, awards certificates. I couldn't believe it (yes I salvaged certain items I think she'll want to look back at some day).
